Author's Note: I wrote this today in Scripture. I didn't expect it to be this long. Sorry I couldn't think of a title. This is my first Doctor Who poem, and the first poem I've written in about a year.
Untitled
A single tear runs down his face
His hearts begin to slow their pace
Parted from the woman he loves
She was so pure, like a dove
Inside he is shattered, broken
Thinking of the words that were never spoken
Suddenly he has lost all hope
He does not know how he will cope
He'd never love another like he loved her
He'd always remember the way they were
Depending solely on one another
Open soul mates, silent lovers
Now inside he begins to weep
He wishes he could go to sleep
To escape a world of pain
He feels like he is going insane
He asks himself what she'd want him to do
Should he move on and find someone new?
Or mourn her for the rest of his days?
This decision is like a winding maze
So many paths, so many turns
Now inside his stomach churns
He wishes he could hear her speak
To tell him which path to seek
That night as he dreams he hears her voice
And smiles as he makes his choice
He will not live each day in strife
He'll go on and have a fantastic life.
Hope you like :D
