Kenny sat still on top of the place that had once been his home, all those years ago. He gazed up at the black, gaping hole in the sky above. It was awfully close now. It wouldn't be long, he decided. He had lived through billions of years, too many to count. But soon that would end. As does everything, he thought. Even him. He had seen the end of life, the day everything stopped dying because there was nothing left to die. Earth was a desolate wasteland. It had been for so many years, Kenny had lost track. He remembered everything. The memories were anything but vivid, but one had stayed true and clear that he could recount everything that happened. Everything. He smiled sadly as he thought back to those days as a child. The days he spent in the "Quiet Mountain Town." He would always remember South Park – or, at least until the black hole above consumed everything from the sun, to him. It was the end. After all these years, he would finally stay dead, he thought. He knew this in his heart. With no place to reawaken, he would not come back to life. He laughed. He would truly die. He would see his old friends again. Then, for the first time in centuries, he felt wind. It blew around him and nudged him to stand up. He did. He pulled out a torn, faded and water damaged photo that he had kept safe with him for all that time. He opened his mouth and let out a yell louder than the howling wind around him. Dust and sand and dirt surrounded him and stung his exposed skin as he sang his final words.

"I can't go back,

And I don't want to,

Cause all my mistakes…"

The wind sang with him in a beautiful symphony as he was lifted into the air. He let we tears stream down his damaged and old face as he sang his last lyric. He let go of the photo.

"Brought me to you."

The picture flew out of Kenny's hand and into the black hole. He would never forget the faces that he would soon see again on the photograph.
