So for the people who don't live in the United States, a little background for you. We start playing Christmas music on the radio extremely early. Like the second week in November. I mean come on, its not even Thanksgiving! Anyway, while I was listening to my local radio station, (which is one of those stations that's playing Christmas music already) the song Baby, It's Cold Outsidecame on and I thought of this. I got home and wrote this in about an hour, so if its bad, don't blame me. I didnt really have anyone read over it. Soooo, anyway, please REVIEW! I love to hear what you have to say.

Clary kissed Jace on his forehead, and stood up. It was the Lightwood's annual Christmas Party, and she had stayed way later than she had told her mother she would. "I can't stay any longer Jace. I've gotta go."
"Nooooo Clary, stay, it's cold and your warm." Jace complained, trying to grab her by the waist and pull her onto the couch again.
Clary sighed. "I know, it's been fun, but I really have to go. My mom is gonna kill me and Luke will be worried too."
"It's only 11:15, what's your hurry?"
"Fine, I'll stay for like two more minutes," Clary huffed. She was rewarded with a huge grin as she plopped down on the couch again next to Jace. "but I mean it, after this I'm leaving."
"Alright, alright." Jace agreed as he pulled her closer. He buried his face in her hair and took a deep breath. "Mmmmm, you smell so good. Like cranberries and cinnamon and Christmas."
"Don't try that on me, Jace Lightwood. I have to go in about 30 seconds. One more kiss and I'm leaving."
"But sweetheart, it's like 20 degrees out there. And its snowing. Your gonna freeze. And it's soooo warm in here..."
"Jace, don't test me..."
"Clary, please? Just call your mom and ask her if you can stay the night at the Institute. Please? For me?"
Clary knew before she looked at him that he had his puppy-dog face on. She prepared herself to resist it, but as soon as her gaze locked with his...all thoughts of fighting were gone and she was lost in a sea of gold. "Don't hurt my pride Clary," Jace added.
"Jaaace," She was getting tired of fighting him. "The answer is no. I CAN'T stay. My mom will have a heart attack. There is no way she would even consider letting me stay the night."
"But your lips are so delicious..." he bent to kiss her but she gently pushed him away.
"As much as I'd love to kiss you all night too, I HAVE to leave. I'm not going to say it again!" She got up and started to walk away, but Jace grabbed her arm.
"All you have is that thin coat you came in, and there aren't going to be any taxis on the streets. So your going to have to walk, and your going to freeze. And I couldn't have my angel freeze out there, could I now?"
"If your so worried about me freezing, then give me your coat. I'll give it back tomorrow."
Jace considered this, knowing she was going to leave even if he didn't give it to her. "Fine," he sighed. "Let me walk you to the door."
They reached the heavy church doors and Clary turned to kiss Jace. "I love you. See you tomorrow."
"I love you too, Clary. But baby, promise you'll be careful. It's cold outside!"

REVIEW! Pretty please?! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone ;) Sorry this is early XD
