"Elizabeth, you wouldn't have possibly had this idea of a coffee shop in Atlantis, would you," john asked amazed?

Elizabeth looked at John smiling, his face was scrunched up like he was deep in thought and his eyebrows were so close together it looked like he only had one.

"Actually, John, it wasn't. It was Colonel O'Neill's."

John nodded his head, leaving Elizabeth laughing to herself.

The Cup of Many Lands, the new coffee shop, was a hit in Atlantis. Everyone seemed to be there, ordering cup after cup of coffee and conversing together on one of the new comfy chairs. Well, everyone was there except Elizabeth Weir and John seemed to be the only one who noticed. The shop had been open for two weeks now and he still had never seen her. He was worried that she was working herself too hard and he wished that he could help her relax.

That night John couldn't sleep, so he decided to take a walk around Atlantis. He went to the gate room, the infirmary, and a balcony to look at the view. He started to feel tired, but he wanted to make a quick detour past the coffee shop. John walked in, thinking it would be dark, but as he turned the corner, he suddenly became temporarily blind from the bright light. Because of his sudden blindness, he managed to trip over a chair and coffee table. John cursed as his sight came back to him and he picked up the chair that he had tripped over.

"John" a voice said behind him?

He turned around, "Elizabeth, what are you doing here?"

Elizabeth blushed, she was wearing her pink panther pajama bottoms with a very short pink tank top.

"I've been coming here every night since it opened," she said motioning toward the coffee shop. I buy coffee here after everyone's gone for the night, they set a cup aside for me"

"Oh, so you've been having a party without me have you?"

Elizabeth laughed, "Care to join me?"

She pointed to a small, round table built for two. She had her laptop open and papers strewn all over the table and the chair across from her. She moved toward the table, and organized the papers so John had spot. They sat down, starring at the floor waiting for someone to say something. They sat like that for almost ten minutes, until John finally spoke.

.So, Elizabeth, besides throwing parties what have you been up to? he said starting a weekly tradition of coffee and conversation.
