A/N: Sorry for being gone so long! College kills muse. But I'm still writing! So, prompt 65: Rain. A bit of cutesy SolAngelo

My heart is your home

Most people would think that waking to the sound of being berated would be annoying or upsetting but Nico quite liked it. It was usual and told him that he was safe. And so, as he woke to the sound of his two-month boyfriend muttering unhappily in his ear, Nico almost smiled.

"By all the gods of Olympus, Nico, I've told you before about the dangers of too much shadow travel. One for these days, you... You won't make it back to Camp Half Blood. Then where would that leave me? I just... I care about you, you asshole."

"That was almost a declaration of love," the son of Hades mumbled, making Will Solace jump about half a foot.

"Nico! You, you're awake! Gods, don't do that to me!" With a chuckle, the black-haired boy pushed himself upright and rubbed his eyes. It was raining, he could hear that and he frowned, looking up at Will.

"What's up with the weather?" The son of Apollo's face dropped.

"My dad is in trouble with Zeus, after everything that has happened. It's not stopped raining for three days now and Dad has gone so quiet... Rachel still can't see anything." Nico could hear the resigned sadness in his boyfriend's voice and he sat up to gently hug the blonde boy.

"Hey, he's gonna be fine, Will. Don't fret about your dad." The hug was immediately returned and slowly Nico was pushed back into the bed.

"I know, I know. You stay here, you hear me? No getting up, doctors orders." The son of Hades gave a wry smile but just settled back into his pillows as instructed.

"Yes, sir. But only if you stay and talk to me, okay?" Will relented easily and sat on the edge of the bed.

"The Aphrodite campers would like me to tell you that we are officially the cutest couple on camp, surpassing Annabeth and Percy since they went to Camp Jupiter. How are they doing over there?" Nico flushed at the assessment made by the sons and daughters of the love goddess but then just smiled at the question.

"They've settled in well. I'm sure that soon enough there will be little demigod children. It is all very cutesty." Will laughed at the clear disgust in Nico's voice.

"Never really one for family, were you, babe?" he teased as the dark-haired boy scowled. "You know I don't mind." Quickly, Nico changed the topic.

"How has it all been here? Nothing too drastic occurred?" Will flashed him a tease look but soon sombered up.

"There's been more monster activity than usual, so it's been busy in here but we think it's just tidying up after Gaia really. So, hopefully, it will die back down soon. Luckily, we haven't had any deaths yet..." Will trailed off and Nico frowned. That implied it had come close too many times.

"Hey," he assured his boyfriend. "It's all alright, you know. No one else is going to die." Will offered him a small smile.

"Sure?"

"Hey, don't you trust me?"

"You know I do. Especially on matter of death." And Nico grins shyly and leans into Will's arm.

"I trust you too, you know." And, at that, Will's face lit up in happiness. Nico grinned. His words had had the desired effect; to make his boyfriend smile. But truly, he believed them, because even after all his trust issues, Will had been so good to him and for him. He made Nico feel, for the first time, like he belonged somewhere with the living. And as the rain continued to fall outside of the medical cabin, their lips met in a soft, sweet kiss
