Her First Night
"Wow," Aelita gasped as she opened her eyes to her new home at the factory. She giggled as she saw Odd. She blushed as soon as she saw Jeremie. She smiled when she looked at Yumi. She stared at Ulrich, giving him the same serious look that he always gave her. She saw Kiwi and screamed, jumping behind Ulrich, the closest one to her.
"Hey, Princess, he's very sensitive. Isn't that right, my little diggity dog?" Odd crooned, petting Kiwi on his belly.
Aelita, very cautiously, walked over to Kiwi and held out her hand. When she came within reaching distance, she touched his head quickly. After doing so, she yelped and jumped from fright.
Everyone laughed, except for Jeremie who was already at the supercomputer checking to make sure Aelita was safe because she wasn't on Lyoko. The other three continued laughing and Aelita blushed.
It wasn't that she was afraid of Kiwi that much. It was when she touched him that it scared her. She never touched something like that. Something… furry. It felt so weird to her. Everything on Lyoko had the same smooth, perfect texture.
"Aelita, we're all going to my house for a movie tonight. You should come, too. Unless you want to stay in the factory tonight," Yumi offered while they headed towards the elevator.
"Thanks, Yumi, but I'll stay here for the night," Aelita replied, running her fingers along the walls.
Yumi nodded before heading out with the boys.
"Aelita?" Odd whispered. He had come to check on her after the movie.
He had to run his fingers along the walls trying to find the light switch. He was wondering who turned the lights off when, all of a sudden, his fingers touched Aelita's.
They both jumped and then, realizing who it was, started laughing.
Odd found the switch and turned the lights on.
"Why were the lights off?" Odd queried.
"It's really silly. You'll probably just laugh at me," Aelita said.
"Why would I, Princess?" Odd asked. When she had said this, his face grew into a confused look.
"I turned the lights off because in Lyoko, in the tower, there's no light. This made me feel more at home," Aelita told him, blushing from her baby-ish answer.
Odd felt sorry for her so he held her hand. Then, Aelita came closer to him for comfort. He blushed, and Aelita, seeing his blush and mistaking it for discomfort, tried to pull away from him, but he kept her there.
Odd stayed with her until she fell asleep. When she was, he carried her to the supercomputer's comfy chair.
"You're on your throne now, Princess," Odd whispered softly as he walked out of the factory.
This is my first Odd and Aelita fic so I hope you liked it. I have to dedicate this to my sister (audi katia) because she's mad crazy about Odd and Aelita! lol Anyway, I hope you liked this and please review!
