Basic Plot: Kirihara Akaya falls in love with a heart-broken Sakuno whose 'one true love' Echizen Ryoma left her to go to the U.S. to play tennis. Due to all of the painful memories that she has at Seigaku Sakuno moves to Rikkai Dai to start a new life, trying to leave behind all of her memories of Ryoma. It seems that our clumsy heroine just can't stay away from tennis even if it means bringing up the subject of her lost love. Slowly, the Angel begins to fall in love with the Devil. They are happy for only a short time before Echizen returns to claim 'his girl'. Who will Sakuno choose? Which one will she break?

Anything in Italics is thoughts. The bold words are the preface. The normal words are…err…everything else I guess…Che this isn't my first fanfic. I have written others, but…I don't know…I guess I just lost interest and stopped them. This IS my first KiriSaku fanfic however and it's like a whole new thing. It may turn out ok, it may suck, but through it all I would really appreciate any reviews that you may write, be it flames or otherwise! Thanks for reading! And all you KiriSaku fans out there I'm with you guys! I love this pairing!!!

Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN PRINCE OF TENNIS!..no matter how much I want to…

He left her.

It was as simple as that.

He left. No explanation. No forwarding address. Not even a goodbye. Nothing. He just vanished, only to reappear in American Junior Pro Tennis magazines. If only he could disappear that easily from her heart…

Ryuzaki Sakuno wiped away the tears that forever seemed to fill her eyes, ever since the day he left. I'm pathetic, she thought, He probably hasn't even thought about me once since he went, so why am I always thinking about him?

She looked out the window at the stormy gray sky and laughed bitterly through her sobs. He doesn't care about me…he never did.

Even the weather seemed to be matching her depressed mood. I was probably just an easy way of passing the time to him.

There was a loud, brisk knock at the door. She barely even heard it and didn't bother to reply. Ryuzaki Sumire, her grandmother and the infamous coach of the Seigaku Tennis Team, put her head around the door and looked at the pale, thin form of her granddaughter. She let out a sigh and thought sadly, He did this to her. That idiot son of an idiot father did this to my Sakuno. He left on the last day of school and she's been completely depressed all summer. She hasn't even talked to that Osakado girl in weeks! Well, I guess her choice is the only sensible one left. Goodness, I'm going to miss her!

Out loud, she said "Sakuno…Sakuno? SAKUNO!" She was jolted out of her reverie and looked up at her grandma blankly as if she didn't recognize her. Slowly she came back down to Earth and looked up at her grandmother. "Have you packed everything, Sakuno? Your toothbrush, uniforms, and school books?" Sakuno replied that she had and then went back into her reverie.

Sumire sat next to her on the big pink four-poster bed and stroked her long, loose hair. "I'm going to miss you a lot Sakuno. This place just won't be the same without you but I understand why you want to leave." A lone tear slid down her cheek and into the girl's hair. "Come on, it's time to go."

So where is Sakuno going? What's gonna happen? Read on to find out. Oh, and see that little Review button there? Click it and tell me what you guys think, ok? Thanks for reading!
