Extra chapter for Animal Farm by Brendan Higgins

Alas, the animals of Manor Farm had done the unthinkable. As crazy as this might be, animals had taken control of the farm! With the pigs in command, the animals were led to a glorious, abundant harvest. It took the animals many months of hard work. This was different since the animals got to keep the harvest and not have it taken away by the greedy mankind.

Every animal gathered for a feast to celebrate the good times and bad that they had without Jones ordering them around. "Such a time", claimed Boxer. "Yes, quite an experience don't you think?" said clover. All of a sudden the farm burst out in to 'Beasts of England'. The animals sang the song as many times as their woollen, hoofed, feathered or furry bodies could muster. Then the farm started cheering. They were cheering for Boxer. "Boxer, for he's a jolly good fellow", every animal cheered. Boxer was astounded and very proud "why are you cheering for me", he asked. "You're a hero, you worked and you went through sweat, blood and tears to get the harvest to be of great abundance" said Napoleon. "Well what do you mean?", boxer replied. "You worked hard so we could have a good harvest", Snowball clarified. "Oh, I understand." Boxer understood and was honoured that they had thought so much of him.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jones realized he must regain control of the farm. He assembled a group of men to help. Each man was given 100 pounds to harness and stop the animal mutiny. "Humans are smarter than animals; we should be in control of the farm!", exclaimed Mr. Jones.

The men sneaked up on the farm at night quietly. Jones said, "we must retake the farm." When the men arrived, they were surprised to see that the animals were already alerted and ready for the attack. All men were hoofed and bitten. Jones yells, "retreat!" The men ran for their lives. The animals cheered and sang 'Beasts of England'. "May we, the animals, rule the farm for all eternity", all the animals cheered. "Curse those rebel farm animals, they'll learn, I say, they'll learn!" Mr. Jones was furious.
