Ivan noticed a flash of platinum blonde hair around the corner. Then the glint of metal. All the nightmares started flooding back. Knives, broken doorknobs. All trademarks of his sister. Natalya wasn't crazy exactly. She was just...scary.
It wasn't normal for someone to be scared of their little sister. His paranoia grew and grew. Now others in the meeting were watching him. Couldn't they see her?
Toris was smiling hesitantly at the door. So it wasn't a hallucination. The Lithuanian still liked her after she broke all his fingers on the one date she agreed to. How was he not scared?
He saw her dark blue eyes staring through the window, heard the clicking of her shoes on the tiled floor. He sat there motionless as she walked in and smiled at him. Her quick reflexes allowed her to have a knife to Toris' back before his fingers reached her hair.
"I-I'm sorry Miss Belarus," he stammered. "I was only going to fix your hair, not that you don't look beautiful as always."
Flicking the blade away from the trembling man, Natalya leaned forward in the way that made Ivan so nervous. It was like she might threaten him next.
"Now then Brother, why don't you marry me?"
Just a quick drabble for the 100 theme challenge. This might not be my best work considering I wrote it in P.E. But whether you liked it or not please review! Constructive criticism appreciated, flames not so much.
