I'm here, 'cause I got a little bored and I didn't write anything on here for a while

so i came up with this.

It's a Shadamy, but a one-sided love.

Confession of the Heart

She looks radiant.

Stunning.

Beautiful.

That smile of hers, always spread across her face.

It makes my heart beat faster every time I see it, but i know it's not actually meant for me.

At least, not yet.

We're still friends, she and I.

Her pink quills framing her face, as her illuminating jade eyes shine with happiness.

"Can't you see the wonder of all this?" Her sweet voice rings out as she twirls around, looking at
the scenery that should be.

I smile and nod, even though i don't bother to look around. All the beauty I needed to see was her.

She reminded me of my past, and introduces me to the future, with the pleasant surprises of the present.

She explains the way of life, how it reflects around her.

She loves every moment of living, while I, on the other hand, despised every second of it.

She adores nature and her very soul is shining right through her eyes.

Her beautiful vibrant eyes catch my dark red ones, and she pauses.

She walks up to me, with each step my heart beats a little faster.

She smiles, it's so contagious that i had to smile back.

"Who knew the Ultimate Life Form would actually smile once in a while?" She sang out with a laugh, sounding like holy bells ringing in my ears.

I chuckle as she flashes me one of those breathtaking smiles.

She turns back and takes in the beautiful scene displayed for her.

The sun setting over the horizon of the ocean, it's rays reflecting off of the waters and onto her, making her look like the angel she truly is.

She seems way out of my league, I mean, why would an angelic haven like her ever love a demonic creature like me?

These thoughts, along with many others, pass through my mind everyday, doubting me of my friendship with her.

But I don't mind, I'll care for her.

And I'll protect her.

Because she needs me by her side, doesn't she?

...

No.

I need her.

I want her by my side.

I'm in love with her.

If I had her, I wouldn't care for anything but her.

I would be the happiest hedgehog alive.

She had given me so many things that i had lost in the past.

Hope, Faith, Care, Friendship and most of all Love.

And someday...

Someday when she is ready to accept me...

I'll repay her for everything.

But until that day, I am still her friend.

And I'll stick by her side.

And I'll accept the fact that I'll always be second until that fateful day.

Because...

I'm in love with a girl, who is in love with the world.
