A Long Time Ago, In a Galaxy Far, Far Away...
The soles of the Doctor's bright red shoes thumped repeatedly against the pavement. He rounded the corner, and ran straight into a young blonde woman.
They both tumbled to the ground. The Doctor was up the quickest. He quickly brushed the dust off of his suit, and looked at the woman.
"Rose?" He enquired. "Didn't I ask you to stay in the TARDIS?" Rose stood up.
"When have you ever expected me to follow that order?"
"Well I meant it this time!"
"Oh, you say that every time!"
"Whatever! We have to get back to the TARDIS before..." He was cut off by a hideous grotesquery that came bursting around the corner. The Doctor looked up. "Oh, hello". The beast roared. "Before that, I mean." The pair started running of towards the Doctor's great blue box, the TARDIS, with the monster giving chase. The Doctor reached it first, slamming into its creaky wooden door. He whipped the key from out of his pocket, and fumbled it into the keyhole.
"Can you hurry that up then?" Rose asked frantically.
"Not helpful," he replied, as he finally managed to get the door open. Due to the weight he was putting on the door, he fell into his TARDIS, followed quickly by Rose, who slammed the door behind them. They sat on the floor for a minute, panting. The Doctor jumped up suddenly.
"Right then." He started. "Where would you like to go, Rose Tyler?" He flashed his signature cheeky smile.
"As IF you're just going to act like it matters where I want to go, Doctor." Rose moaned. "It's not as if it ever works out anyways."
"Oi!" He shouted back. "You'll hurt her feelings!" Rose rolled her eyes and stalked off to the kitchen.
The Doctor sighed. He spoke out loud to no one in particular. "Well I suppose I'll just see where she takes us. Allons-y!" He pulled down the massive lever on the center console, and the TARDIS took off. Pleased with his piloting, the Doctor smiled, and walked off to join Rose in the kitchen. When he arrived in the room,
he saw Rose perched up on the counter. She had put tea on. The Doctor smiled once more. He liked a spot of tea.
"Would you like a cup?" Rose flirted, holding the cup outstreched towards him. As he reached for it, the ship suddenly shook massively, throwing the Doctor and his companion to the floor, shattering both the cup and the teapot. Sparks rained from the console room into the kitchen.
"Well, that doesn't sound good." The Doctor stood up, taking his glasses out of his jacket pocket. He put them on, and pushed his unruly hair out of his eyes.
He made his way towards the console, and turned on the monitor. Rose slowly made her way towards him.
"What happened?"
"Well it looks as if we were hit by a m-" The TARDIS shook again, knocking them both to the floor once again. Sparks flew out of a ruptured tube, sending embers racing throughout the room. After almost half a minute of intense shaking, things finally settled down.
"A meteor," he finished. "We were hit by a meteor. And we're going down."
"What? Where are we crashing?"
"I haven't the foggiest. Grab some pillows and take cover. Allons-y!" Rose ran off to complete the task, and the Doctor stood grinning at the console.
The TARDIS plummeted towards the ground, not slowing down after breaching the atmosphere. Finally, with a giant poof, the great ship landed in a giant sand dune,
sending dust hundreds of metres into the sky. Inside, Rose and her Doctor had just stood up, and were dusting themselves off.
"Well then," he said. "Lets go and see where we are." He held out his arm, and Rose took it. The opened the doors into the unknown planet, and stepped out into the harsh light. As their eyes adjusted, they looked up towards the sky, and saw the twin suns suspended in midair. Then, a horrible screaming as masked, cloaked figures appeared from behind the dunes. They were armed. And their weapons were pointed right at the Doctor and Rose.
