The Neverending Dream

I laid still. Hands. Legs. Fingers. Toes. Stomach the urge to move and lucid dream. Don't open my eyes yet. I've still got 2 minutes left. There's no rush. I will dream. I will dream. I will dream...

A bing goes off, notifying me that my waiting has only 1 minute left. After this, I will try to open my eyes. And lucid dream.

Ever since I was 2 or so, dreaming became unattainable. I still have never expirenced a dream to the fullest. A lucid dream. I tried earlier today, on a weird dream, but all it did was make everything look blue, red, then everything stopped. I wasn't even excited, just trying to speak up. What had gone wrong?

Whatever. I had to get this right. Tommorow I'd be going to Ohio, my homestate, for a whole month. And I'd probably be devoured alive by my family and old friends.

Then, the last bing goes off and I open my eyes. Colors, nothing special. I'm doing it right, though. Then, I feel the bed underneath me begin to fall. I stay still, only looking straight forwards. A lurch. Then, my head makes contact with the ceiling and I find myself alone.
