The Soul
There I stood next to my coffin,
Looking down at my pale white face.
I knew I should've treasured life more,
Since now it's gone to waste.
I went to my favourite little spot,
My class seat, at the end of the last row,
Letting memories fly across my mind,
As I thought where next should I go.
I heard a noise from the other room,
Curiosity took me for a peek.
Shocked was I, for what I saw,
Was a big, masked, monstrous freak.
It sensed my presence, so I ran,
But I was no match for the creatures speed.
So it caught me, and gave me a look,
Telling me it's time for its feed.
As I thought of second death,
Something slashed the monsters face,
Several stabs in its body,
And it vanished, without a trace.
My saviour stood right before me,
In his very black attire.
He sheathed his sword and looked at me,
With eyes blazing with fire.
I thanked the hero with all my heart,
For he saved me from my doom.
he smiled a sweet smile and questioned me,
What was I doing in ths room.
I said I was a recent soul,
Not knowing what to do.
With another smile he gladly told me,
There's a better place to go.
He said it was a vast society,
With lots of beings like me.
Bu I'm not sure if I'm ready for it,
For here, I am quite free.
His smile turned into a slight frown,
Saying it's better to pass on.
If monsters come and hunt again,
I surely would be gone.
I then willingly agreed to go,
To see what was it like there.
Then he hit me with the hilt of his sword,
And I vanished into thin air.
For some reason, I don't know why,
I have this kind of feeling.
My real journey has only begun,
For death is just the beginning......
