Based on the scenes in the Transformers movie where the Decepticons damaged in the battle of Autobot City get dumped out of Astrotrain and Megatron becomes Galvatron and he kills Starscream with one shot to once again lead the Decepticons!

After the brutal battle with the Autobots

The Decepticons retreat onboard Astrotrain

Megatron heavily damaged in the fight with Optimus Prime

Halfway there to Cybertron however

The healthy Decepticons ditch the damaged Decepticons

Megatron fuelled by revenge for what Starscream did to him

Dumping him like a piece of garbage

Also among the dumped

There's Thundercracker, Skywarp, Shrapnel, Kickback and Bombshell

Meeting Unicron however changed them forever

Megatron becoming Galvatron

Skywarp and Thundercracker turned into Cyclonus and Scourge

And the Insecticons transformed into Scourge's henchmen the Sweeps

Then Galvatron has a personal mission

Regaining the Decepticon leadership

Thus killing Starscream

A new leader rises!
