This takes place before The Stingers were introduced in the series. I may not be the best writer but I am going to try. The Jem, Jerrica and Rio love triangle will finally end but will it be with Rio discovering Jem's true identity on his own or Jerrica telling him?

Prologue

Jerrica Benton needed money to support the starlight girls. The foster girls that her father the late Emmett Benton had taken in unfortunately with his passing Eric Raymond took over his company Starlight Music embezzling music from it and hiring a second rate group known as The Misfits. This left no money at all for the Starlight foundation which was put in place to help raise the foster girls. Eric Raymond first held a rigged battle of the bands contest ensuring that his band The Misfits would win for sure. His plan was foiled by the appearance of a new band that started playing coming out of nowhere Jem and The Holograms. It was after the confrontation between Jerrica and Eric Raymond that a new battle of the bands was arranged and the winner would receive full control of Starlight music. The deal was then sweetened by the movie director Howard Sands offering the winners a movie contract and a luxurious mansion. This is where our story begins of the love triangle of Jerrica, Jem and Rio.
