UNDER A FULL MOON

she howls at the moon when she thinks no one sees

I watch her, her tears at who she wishes she could be

so confused sometimes

I hate to see that confusion in those beautiful green eyes of hers

If I could I'd make her the girl she wants to be

I'd take her hand and my love for her she would see.

During the day

we play together, laughing as she jumps through the air

seeming so happy, so without a care, but at night

under that full moon

she cries her tears

she howls so softly, she can't be heard by their not

listening ears.

The moon lighting her hair, casting it white.

If she looked, sniffed the air, she might know I'm there,

but would she be able to tell how much I care?

How much I love her?
