"Fish gathered to look at us - a school of barracudas, some curious marines. SCRAM! I told them. They swam off, but I could tell they went reluctantly. I swear I understood their intensions. They were about to star rumors fighting around the sea about the son of Poseidon and some girl at the bottom of Siren Bay." Sea of Monsters, Percy Jackson.

He didn't know how right he was
"Did you hear? About the Son of Poseidon" said the middle aged sword fish to her cat fish niece.
"Oh yah what a flirt"
The elderly sword fish responded wisely. "Takes after his father".
"I wonder how many girls he used that move on." The catfish wondered "I wish it was me that boy is so cute."
The swordfish just thought you and every other fish in the sea. All the creatures today want to land a son of the sea god. Then again we all do at some point.
Meanwhile in the North Atlantic:
"Who was the girl?" a clown fish was wondering what the big deal was, every demigod child has had their luck with finding a mate. "That's why it's so scandalous."
Curious the clown fish asked the crab "WHY?"
"She is a daughter of Athena but you didn't hear it from me?" Oh my gods did the boy not understand what he was getting into. "Who did you hear it from?" the crab snapped her claws in joy and responded "Oh the octopus she has her tentacles in all the good gossip, all schools of fish dish to her"
And so it spread.
"A DAUGHTER OF ATHENA!"
"Does he know that his father and Athena hate each other?"
"I know right does he have any respect for his family."
"Yah and what about the girl."
"Those two will be in such hot water."
"I know they will wish they were in an underwater volcano when their parents are done with them."
"OMG! Who will have the misfortune of telling Lord Poseidon?"
"SEQUEL just thinking about it, whoever it is I wouldn't want to be in there gills."
"I know and so unlucky for whatever area Poseidon is feeling nasty towards because they will be hit with major storms."
"Right I bet it will be on New York."
"Why?" "That's were Jackson and the other girl live."
And it continued like that across the sea each one coming up with theories on how Poseidon would react. If the relationship would last? But no fish, sea creature and or monster ever realized that they were way ahead of the curve.
Poseidon's reaction:
Swimming back to his palace Poseidon contemplated the rumors he had heard around the oceans and he had to laugh, the tale tails sea creatures would make up to pass the time. His son ,his latest and quite possible greatest son cavorting with a daughter of Athena, in water no less was absurd. He wasn't even at the age to truly appreciate girls. Right? Even then no daughter of Athena would give him the time of day seeing as their mother can't get over some silly feud. Then he came to a startling conclusion that his son did indeed know a daughter of Athena they went on a quest to save the lightning bolt together, could it be... no...But the nagging suspicion would not leave his mind.
Being a god little details escape you but Poseidon thought back to the meeting after Perceus had retrieved the lightning bolt and tried to recall the other girl who helped. She did not seem to be interested in him.
Regardless Poseidon vowed to check in on his son's love life more often now that this idea had been brought to his attention.
The silly god thought he had a choice in the matter, little did he consider Aphrodite. She had the couple set to be the greatest love story since Helen and Troy. A love that could most certainly survive two overprotective godly parents.
This was a quick thing that popped in my head and i just wanted to get it out. I hope u enjoy it but remember its a joke fic :) :D
i needed something less heavy ever since the killer ending of Mark of Athena
