Living a Double Life

Chapter 1; Just a Normal Kid

Fifteen year old Danny walked through the metal doors of the high school building. He went to his locker where he got his things for class and met up with his two best friends, Tucker and Sam. Tucker was wearing this odd looking vest with a lot of wires and such coming from it. It also had sevaral PDAs and things of that nature hooked to it. "Uh, Tuck? What are you wearing?" Danny asked his friend. "It's a vest that I can keep all my PDAs and other electronics on, that way they are always conveniently located." Tucker replied with a proud smirk. Danny just nodded. "So, are we still going to hang out after school today?" Sam asked. Just then, Paulina walked by. She was wearing an extremly low cut, tight red top and low riding, tight jeans, that drew extra attention to her curves. Danny watched her go by almost like he was in a trance. All the other boys in the hallway stared at Paulina as well and tried to get her attention. She flipped her beautiful, thick, brown hair and flashed a dazling smile. She also waved to all the boys in a flirtatious manner. Sam glared and gritted her teeth. She hated the fact that Paulina was taking Danny's attention from her. Sam had always been in love with Danny, ever since the first time they met. She never told him, however, because she thought it would make things awkward between them and she was pretty sure he wasn't interested in her in that way. "Hello! Earth to Danny!" Sam said. "Oh, yeah. Sounds good." Danny replied. The three teens went to thier class. Danny stared off into space, acting like he was paying attention to Mr. Lanser's extremley boring lecture. He had other things to think about at the moment. Such as, what he was going to do about Walker. The ghost was planning on capturing all of Danny's loved ones and use them as bait for Danny. Tucker was listening to music and singing out loud, but not loud enough for Mr. Lanser to hear. Meanwhile, Sam was doodling Danny's name with little hearts around it and little pictures of the two of them togather all over her notebook. When the bell rang for class to end, all the kids ran out of the room, almost trampling Mr. Lanser. Later at lunch, Danny, Sam and Tucker were outside, enjoying thier lunch. Dash and Quan walked by, and Dash "accidently" pushed Danny off of the table bench. Danny glared and groaned angry as he stood up and sat back down. Sam gave an unamused blank face to the two jocks, who were laughing and high-fiving eachother as they walked off.
