This is something that I wrote a long while back, and I'm not sure if I just wanna leave it alone how it is, or maybe continue with it... I'll leave it up to y'all. Enjoy and let me know in the comments if you want me to continue, or just leave it.

I am still slowly working on my other stories, school just started back and I'm gonna get really busy again. Sorry I didn't write as much as I had hoped for in the summer. :( I'm gonna try to get busy with my stories when I can.

Talk to y'all later.

My heart was racing a hundred miles an hour as I walked through the mall. This creepy man had been following me for the past fifteen minutes and I was beyond scared. As I risked another glance back over my shoulder I saw that he was still there. He was taller than me, tan, had some stubble, and messy dark hair. And from the looks of it, he could definitely over power me. I made sure to stay around large groups of people until I stepped into the JCPenny's clothing store, hoping to walk and weave through the aisles fast enough to lose him.

I'm short enough to where if I shrink down a little he'll never see me, but I can still see a part of him through every glimpse I take.

Oh man I have to think of something, and fast!

I glance quickly around the store searching for someone I know or anyone who could possibly help me.

And that's when I see him.

Tall, pale, jet black hair, muscular, firm facial features, and best of all, his "don't mess with me" stance. He obviously works here, I can tell because of his work shirt.

I glance behind me and see the man had gotten very much closer to me. I try to make the look of a happy girl skipping to her boyfriend, and that's exactly what I do.

"Hey honey!" I skip over to him and pull him down to hug me. I whisper in his ear, "Please play along! That man has been following me for the past fifteen minutes!" I pull back from the hug and look up to him with pleading eyes. He glances around casually, but I could tell he was looking at the man. He nods to me and smiles in the adoring boyfriend way. I can still feel that man's gaze on me, so I took one step more to make him believe that I belonged to this man.

When I reached up and pulled his lips down onto mine, he brought up his hands as if to push me away, but thought twice about it. Instead he held me closer to him. The kiss was surprisingly very good. As good as a kiss could get with a complete stranger. When we broke apart I glanced to where the man was, and thank god, he was heading out of the mall.

I looked up at this tall, dark, and handsome man again and saw that his face was written with surprise and confusion.

I blushed, stepping back from him, now realizing that he was a good two heads taller than me. "Sorry about that." I brushed my hair back nervously. "It's just that he has been following me for a long time and I was beyond scared." I smiled sheepishly. "I was literally running out of options and then I saw you. No offence, but you looked a little," I struggled for a word. "Intimidating?" I finished lamely.

I looked up and met his gaze, but to my surprise, he smiled again. "It's alright. I understand what fear can do to a person." He had a deep British accent that made my heart do flips for some odd reason. Hadn't I just met this guy? And he was already making my heart melt, just with his accent. "Don't worry about him." He continued. "He won't ever come back." I looked at him with a confused look, but let it pass.

"Well, I'm sorry I had to drag you into my mess. And, thank you for the help." I offered my hand out to him. "I'm Maicie."

He took my hand in his, and instead of shaking it, he brought it to his lips and kissed my knuckles. "I am Loki."
