A Handprint on my Heart
Leah knows that Jacob is the only thing that is keeping her alive now.
He has an effect on her unlike anyone else.
Even when he's not physically there with her, she can still feel him there, next to her.
She wonders if Jacob feels the same way, and she knows that he does, even though she never asks him.
Jacob has changed Leah so much that she doesn't even recognize herself sometimes.
Leah is grateful for Jacob's impact on her life. If it weren't for him, she would probably be dead right now.
There are some times when Leah regrets her change, when she wishes she could go back to the Leah she knows, bitter, sarcastic.
But no matter how unsure she is about this change, she knows one thing for certain.
The influence Jacob has had on her will last forever.
