Lucy- It is c: Don't worry I am still writing Amu's New Bodyguard :) Just slowly...This story was written on my phone in 40 minutes ouo... It was inspired by a conversation I had with a friend. (Another story based on a conversation may appear later... xD)

Amu- We should start the story now...

"You shouldn't date someone out of pity."

Those words, I should of listened to them.

My name is Amu Hinamori, 16 years old, Junior in Seiyo High. 3 weeks ago, a blonde haired boy named Tadase Hotori who was also a Junior, confessed his feelings for me. He told me to please consider dating him and not tell anyone about this confession, then walked away.
Though of course, I told my best friend Rima.

She asked me what I thought about him. I told her that he was cute and all, but wasn't my type. She asked if I was going to go turn him down. I had a hard time answering that question... I could actually imagine him running off crying and being sad for a longtime once I told him, and I'd feel really bad about it. I told Rima that and said I don't know, she answered, "Well Amu; You shouldn't date someone out of pity." And so I made up my mind and 2 days later, I told him I could try dating. His face lit up so bright when I said those words. A bit of regret formed in me when I said them, but I brushed it away.

During these 3 weeks that have passed, we had quite a few dates. We haven't kissed yet, but he'd kiss me on the cheek at the end of each date. No feelings really developed for him though.

In the first week, I met a guy named Ikuto Tsukiyomi on the school rooftop. He was a Senior, and I found out that he knew another one of my best friends, Kukai. We had a few hangouts after school here and there. I found them more fun and enjoyable than my dates with Tadase; but of course, Tadase didn't know I was hanging out with Ikuto. Ikuto doesn't know that Tadase was my boyfriend either. That wouldn't be such a problem; if I hadn't developed feelings for Ikuto.

Since a week ago, every time I hang around Ikuto, or even talk to him, I feel fluttery and nervous. I told Rima this and she said the only explanation, would be that I had begun to like Ikuto.

She told me I should break up with Tadase and ask Ikuto out since I don't have feelings for Tadase, but have some for Ikuto. I agreed with her, but I didn't think I was ready to see the results of this action.

Tadase probably wouldn't even talk to me. And Ikuto... What if he doesn't like me? Or has a Girlfriend he hasn't told me about?
If he found out that I broke up with a guy just for him, there would be a chance that he wouldn't talk to me either and ignore me too.

I don't know what I should do because I don't think I'm ready to face the consequences. I should of just listened to Rima so that none of this would have happened.

To not date someone out of pity.

Amu- Maybe if you read it carefully you'd know... .u.
