The Best Christmas Present.
Will's point of view.
Today is the day I have been looking forward to for a long time. It's the day where I get to see Danny again. You might think I'm over reacting to this but I haven't seen him in what feels like a long time. Even after we finish filming The Voice UK auditions, we will both be able to be together for six months. The last time I saw him was back in August when I helped him do some finishing touches on his album.
Right now I'm walking backstage towards the stage where I'm expecting the other judges to be. Jessie is sat down in her chair next to Tom and they seem to have noticed that I have arrived because they both stand up and walk towards me.
Jessie starts to run then hugs me tightly, after she finishes hugging me Tom gives me a manly handshake. I glance around looking for Danny and then I hear the door swing open and there he is.
Danny's point of view.
I turn the handle and the first person I see is the person I wanted to see for a long time. I barely take notice of Jessie and Tom until Jessie shouts out my name. I walk over to the three of them. All I want to do is for him to hold me and never let me go again, but we can't do that not until Tom and Jessie leave anyway.
Jessie's point of view.
I look between Danny and Will and can't help but think there is something going on between them. I mean they both have barely said a word and they can't keep their eyes of each other. I guess I should break the silence.
Jessie: I'm so excited to start doing this again!
Tom: Yes and we are all here to do the second series.
Jessie: I know I'm just glad that no one replaced us, I mean we all getting along so well aren't we guys?
I try to direct that question to Will and Danny to see if it would bring them out of their little zone, but it didn't work. Well if there is something going on between them I don't want to stop them from doing what they want to do because if their looks tell me anything they just want to be alone.
Jessie: Tom, would you mind showing me where the toilets are because this is a new studio and I'm not quite sure where they are.
Tom: Of course, what sort of man would I be if I didn't.
As Tom leads the way I walk past both of them giving them a wink as I leave.
Will's point of view.
After I watch them leave I look forward and stare at Danny and I can feel a bright smile making it's way on my face. That's all it takes for him to leap into my arms as he whispers words into my ear. I kiss his cheek softly and notice he is crying.
Danny: Don't worry, I'm just happy to see you.
Will: I know. I love you.
Danny: I love you too. Seeing you again is the best present I could get this Christmas.
He buries his head into the crook of my neck and I wrap my arms around his waist. We know our relationship isn't perfect because there are times when we have to spend months without seeing each other but it makes it all the more beautiful when we return.
