Hi there penguin peoples and portal nerds! I'd just like to take a second and say a few things before you start reading.

I'm not sure if I should continue my story, "From PSA to EPF", or not. I'm honestly getting bored/tired of writing it. So if any of you were enjoying it and wanted more. I'm sorry.

But, I'm super excited about this story and couldn't help but begin writing it as soon as possible. I hope you all enjoy it!

Maddie searched through her collection of hoodies hanging in her closet, unsure of which to wear.

"Nope nope nope nope double nope, wore it last week, too thick, too thin, too much detail... have I worn this one yet? …. yeah, I did." Maddie talked to herself as she searched. "AH HA!" She exclaimed as she pulled out a purple hoodie. "Perfect!" She pulled it on over her white t-shirt.

Maddie the proceeded to pull the blanket off of a nearby purple puffle bed. "Wake up, Princess. We've got another full day today!" The purple puffle squeaked in protest and attempted to snuggle back into sleep. Maddie rolled her eyes and plucked Princess out of the bed and carried her into the next room. Maddie giggled, "Come on sleepy head."

In the next room, Maddie set princess back down, grabbed a bag of puffle food, turned toward a group of puffle beds and blew a whistle. Once the whistle grew silent, a group of puffles came bouncing toward her. The puffles looked up expectantly at her, a few of them bouncing in anticipation. Maddie giggled, "Good morning everyone." She looked around and did a quick roll-call.

"Sally, check. Kathy, check. Clown, check. Cartz, check. Loop, check. Maddie JR, check. Dashie, check. Kelly, check. Rainbow Dash, check. Guitar, check. Cocoa, check. Crazeh, check. And Princess, check." Maddie put the bag of food back in its hiding place, she had been pouring food for the puffles as she called out their names. She waddled off into another room to find something to eat for breakfast.

"Hi Courtney, Chad, Bob, Scarlet, Josh." Maddie greeted as she and Princess made their way over to the group of penguins. "Ready for today?"

"Helloooooooooooooooo Maddie!" Scarlet called. She and Josh had their pet puffle, Sir Derpsalot, with them.

"Yup!" Courtney said, replying to Maddie's question. "We're going to have SO much fun!"

-1 hour later-

"I'm bored." Chad complained. Everyone nodded in agreement, except Bob who was off who knows where.

"Hey guys, look what I found!" Bob called as he half ran half waddled toward the table the group was sitting at, holding a piece of paper in his flippers.

"You found paper?" Scarlet asked.

"Not just any paper. It's a flyer, look!" Bob placed the flyer on the table for the other to see. It Read:

"Aperture Laboratories needs your help!

Come help us test out some machines by

going through our testing tracks.

Free cake for those who complete our

tests!"

"Oooh cake!" Josh licked his lips.

"Can we go, Maddie? Can we? Can we? Can we?" Scarlet asked. Everyone looked at Maddie as if she were the goddess of decision making.

Maddie sighed. "Yeah, sure. It sounds like fun."

"Yay!" Scarlet clapped her flippers in joy.

"Free cake!" Josh cheered.

Chad, Courtney and Bob simply nodded.
