This is a story I wrote few years back. I was too anxious after reading an episode, that ended to a cliff-hanger. So here you have it!

'My heartaches for your touch,
your scent and your smile.
I cant even THINK of the word that describes the STATE you are in right now...
but you CAN'T BE!
To think that you could be...
could be...'

a tremble and a "sniff"

"Kago-... Kago-me... sniff"

'It's all my fault!
Sango and Mirouku too!
You all are...'

"sniff"

If someone would have been watching, they would have seen this rare sight. Inuyasha was crying.
Crying silently. He was laying On grass besid a tree. He had his legs on his chest and he was holding his legs thight with his arms.

'Why couldn't I have been faster!
I should have been!..'

"sniff"

But then, suddaly his ears perked. Inuyasha goes still, stops moving and breathing...-Nothing.
'I must have imagi-', but his thougths were cut short, for there was that sound again.

Inuyasha stood almost up, as silently as he could. He was listening as well as he could. But when he heard nothing but the wind, for a while. He started crying again. Louder this time.

He had had his hopes up, in a second. Just one whispere of his name, from the lips of whom he secredly loved, and he was ready to go trought anything to just hear it again, once more.
And when he realised this, he got his head up, and tried to calm down.

He started to take in his surroundings.
There was a big hole in the gound beside him. ' It's just were they all had been figthing, before Naraku got hold of the sacred jewel and blew up or something.
There is just few scents left, they are Narakus and..Kago-! It's like she is still HERE! '

He whispered slowly and silently: "Ka- kago-me..?"
-silence-
A bit louder: "Kagome?!"
-no answere-
"...KAGOMEEEE!", he cryes to the sky.

He sobs her name once more silently and pleadging as he falls slowly to the ground.
After few minutes he stops crying and just looks apaticly to the distance trying to give up.

' What am I trying to give up, I don't have anything left. '

A pained whispere comes from somewhere:
"Inuyasha, I'm right here...Open your eyes."
