Hey people. This story would be a sad and kinda a heart touching one. We learn what happened 6 years ago at the elementary school when the shooting chaos happened. I remember on the same day when I was shocked when my dad told me and my young sister about it when we came home. I also wrote a song at school a few weeks ago, in which I changed lyrics of Someday at Christmas. So, this is to the poor people that lost their lives on that sorrow day.

Broken Innocence.

...

Someday near Christmas, they'll be no joy.

They'll be no gifts for no girl or boy.

One cold December, our beliefs will see

That innocents are shattered indeed.

Alvin sat in his room that he shared with his brothers alone in a depressed state. He refused to cry and let his family see him like this. What had brought this on?

It all started when Dave motioned them to walk to the dining room without saying a word, which the brothers are concern about. However, when they were about to impatiently question him, they noticed a sad somber look on their adoptive father's face. Alvin and his brothers are more concern by his expression. No one dared utter a word in the dining room. The chipmunks wanted to ask but afraid that it might not be necessary.

Finally, Dave broke the silence and explained to his boys about the horrible news that would feel like life changing to them. The news was unbearably tragic that the chipmunks couldn't believe what they're hearing and that they wished that it wasn't real. But sadly it is.

There has been a massacre of shooting going on at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut around 9:30am. A man broke in and shot 26 people. 20 of them are children about ages 6 or 7 years old. 6 of them are teachers and a principal. The events were all over the news.

Simon's mouth a wide agape. Theodore was crying. But Alvin..., Alvin felt more worse when his heart dropped. This is all a joke, right? But the look on Dave's face could tell the red clad chipmunk that this is dead serious. He didn't say anything. He didn't want to do anything for now. He was too, shocked. Alvin carried himself to his bedroom and closed the door. He couldn't do anything but sit on his bed with tragedy affecting his mind.

Someday near Christmas, they'll be no snow.

We will learn what we have to show.

When we see what's in our hearts.

That we'll be torn apart.

Alvin buried his face in his knees still not wanting to cry. His brothers didn't come to the door, even though that they were concern for him. He didn't even come down to eat dinner. It was getting late, but Alvin doesn't care how dark his room is getting. It isn't fair! Those children at school...they didn't deserved this. They were so young! So innocent! They had many lives ahead of them! But then the crook just had to break in and take their lives away from them! Especially on days before Christmas, which it may not matter now. It's just not fair!

This isn't the first time Alvin has heard about school shootings. The chipmunk knew about gun violence going at High schools and Colleges. But the Elementary school...that is just too much! This is a new low! Alvin can feel how depressed those poor parents must be. They lost their children that are near and dear to them. He hoped and prayed that those kids that had survived got out to safety. He was relieved that parents came and got them, but he could feel how deeply horrified those poor kids are of what happened to their friends they had lost. That was when their innocents are gone. And forever. Every child are supposed to have innocents of great wonder and imagination. But it is now taken away today.

Alvin shook his head while he felt a lump on his throat. A tear threatened to escape from his right eye. Those kids don't deserve this! They were supposed to have great lives that are ahead of them. Coming home for Christmas, unwrapping gifts, seeing their family, graduating, growing up. But it looks like it won't happen. Because when a person leave this world there is no turning back. The red clad chipmunk bang his fist on the table beside his head while he cursed to himself under his breath. He couldn't hold his sadness in for long. Despite being a 'cool munk' he wasn't strong enough to prevent himself from sobbing. He bang his fist again, and again, and again. Until it hurt his knuckles.

Someday, we'll know what this mean.

That our affections was never meant to be.

Maybe not this year for you to see.

When Christmas comes and goes.

Alvin had his head burried in his pillow while crying his heart out. His brothers didn't want to bother him, even though they wanted to comfort him. He never thought this day would come. Like those poor people at Newtown. This is like 9/11 all over again. Darkness filled the bedroom as dusk would be arriving. He felt weak, but he had to let it out. What would he do?

Why?!

Why did this happen?! Why must there be evil in this world?! There was more than just run violence. Many awful things has happen to innocent people. Kidnapping, rape, fire accidents, sick children, sinful lust for money by destroying lives. This isn't right! Alvin wished that all this chaos would stop hurting this world, but the problem is that evil doesn't care. He knew that God didn't allow evil to be involved in his plans for the people. But...why?! The chipmunk sat up while his eyes are red and puffy.

Someday near Christmas, no lights will be bright.

No wrapping presents with no trees in sight.

One certain day, people will stand

Seeing that changes of this world will land.

He sat up from his bed and walk to the window seeing his hometown of Los Angeles. The cold air of December was filled up outside on a chilly Friday night. Alvin was thankful that it didn't happen to his school. He'd be damned if anything bad happened to his brothers, Dave, or the Chipettes. He wiped the tears off his eyes. His parents may have left him and his brothers, but he couldn't be more grateful to have a loving adoptive father giving them shelter. As long as they are together they will be okay.

Alvin hoped that those kids will forever rest peacefully in Heaven where the Lord will take care of them. He knew that he would never forget this day and that he hope that someday the world will change in a better way. A small smile appeared in his face while he prayed for the families at Newtown.

But someday near Christmas, the world will go round.

When we see what we have found.

The warm feelings what makes us bound.

That there will forever be love.

The End!

Thank you all for reading. I never forget that day to when I first learn about that tragedy at school. Anyway, I hope you all take care and be safe and that you all enjoy this story. Happy early holidays.🎄🎅
