It was a quiet evening, as Harry Potter looked over to his wife, Ginny. "Can you believe that our Albus is attending Hogwarts this year?"
"Now, now," Ginny admonished. "They can't stay young forever. You know that."
Harry gave her a grin. "Just imagine our years at Hogwarts."
"Yes, it was quite exciting. Especially for you," she added. "You and Ron got in loads of trouble, with Hermione saving the day."
"Hey! She was dragged down as much as us," Harry protested.
Ginny rolled her eyes, but didn't hide the affection she had. "Oh please, Harry."
"Mom! Dad!" James shouted from the room next door. "Can you please come now?"
"Don't forget their teenager years," Ginny whispered. "For James, he'll be moody and sulk."
"Doesn't he already do that?" Harry quipped.
"I heard that!" James retorted.
"Our Lily would certainly be a good girl," Harry said, referring to their shy little girl who adored books.
"Who knows which trait she got that from?" Ginny teased. "Harry, the troublemaker."
"And Ginny, the girl who just loves trouble. We're a perfect match."
"Gross!" James called. "Enough talking and start moving!"
After the last scene in Harry Potter (Deathly Hallows), where Harry talks to Albus about being put in Slytherin.
Setting: In the train on their way to HOGWARTS
Albus twitched nervously, his eyes locating his brother, who was talking to Rose animatedly. He's lucky, he thought. James fit well in, with his happy-go-lucky attitude, and funny antics.
Looking down at his lap, he skimmed through what he was going to do at Hogwarts. Makings friends would be hard to do, but surely his brother would help him! He was quite agitated, but at the same time elated, wondering how Hogwarts will turn out like.
"Hi," a voice said softly. "May I sit beside you?"
"Okay," Albus said, looking up. "My name is - " he trailed off, gasping.
Sorry it's short, but hey, I gave you a cliff-hanger!
