Fallen Rose- Ib
After wandering for some time lost, in this bizzare art gallery, I've lost my blue rose and have been starting to feel weak since then.
"Why am I here anyway, it doesn't make any sense…"
The room dark just al all the rest quiet , and lonely. At least none fo the strange works are in this room.
I wonder if I should just lay here and fall asleep, maybe it's all just some strange dream and I'll be back home when I wake up. Clutching the key in my hand just beginning to dose off the sound of small foot steps approch.
"Hu…..?" before I realize it the key I was once holding was gone and all I was able to notice was long brown hair drifting away.
"Yea it does seem more like a dream now…"
The sound of glass breaks and a door shutting tight. The foot steps approch again. I start to gain the strength I thought I had lost and my vision became clear, a girl appears in front of me , startling me.
Startled as I was I noticed the same pair of shoes that have walked off with the key I held just moments ago. Before thinking I backed away. "Akk!"
A petit girl with ruby red eyes and chocolate long hair stood before me, confused and seemed exhausted.
~Why would a little girl get stuck in a place like this?~
She didn't speak much but when ever she would say something it would be in a small low voice. She would occasionally look down every time she spoke but when I said something, her eyes would light up as if she was wondering if she could trust me or not.
"Well, Ib was it, I can't leave a girl all alone in a dangerous place like this, let's find a way out together."
Her eyes just lit up in joy, it felt like I could read her thoughts for that one second.
Your not leaving me alone?
She seemed like a sweet little girl, so she must be frightened to be here in this bizarre place that seems fairly close to the art gallery. I wonder how scared she is alone.
As we would continue forward I noticed when the "Death of Individual" works chased us Ib would cling tightly to me as we ran into the room.
She didn't seem to show it but she was terrified, and who wouldn't be randomly stuck in a horro zone by yourself with nothing to go on, and not knowing how to find a way out.
"Garry?..."
Her voice seemed a bit louder than the first time I heard her speak but still low.
"What is it Ib?" I felt her pull on my coat. Then collapse.
"Ib!"
I don't know why she collapsed, but at the same time I do. We were both here hungery lost, tired, terrified. And for a child like her, I wouldn't be surprised.
I noticed a room a little further ahead there was a door, "Your so scared, but yet you look so peaceful…"
My coat was the only thing I had that was close to warm on me right now, so I wrapped Ib in it. And carried her off into the room. No sign of any dangerous art work in the room so I carried her inside and locked the door before I put her down.
She seemed so comfortable hugging my coat.
"Momma…"
She must really miss her parents." Wonder if people notice if were gone or not.
There a few books in this room so might as well read them and see if I can find anything that could help us get out.
"G-Garry…"
She said my name? But… why? Does she care about me, or has she gotten that close to me? No one has ever really had an interest in me at all. I'm just some guy to them a stranger. Even to my family I was the last person they would think of. Why would she care about me?
She stayed asleep for an hour or so, but I figured she needed to eat, all I had was a piece of candy, I wasn't sure if it would be enough but it sure was something.
"Once we find a way out of this place, I swear I'll protect you no matter what." I kissed her forehead lightly as I noticed a small smile appeared from her face.
"Thank…you…"
I won't let my rose die, not yet, not now, and not until I get you out of here save and sound.
Right now you are my rose, and if you fall into death, I'll be sure I'm the one taking the pain not you.
