This is just a really short piece I wrote. It's not that good, but I like it. I don't own anyone or anything.

Lirael lifted her glass for the toast but her mind was elsewhere. The bridge, nick had said - at sunset, it was sunset now. She put down the glass and asked to be excused. She left the table and hurried to the bridge. Her long silver gown trailed behind her as she waked. Nick was already there. He embraced her warmly then pressed his lips to hers. Lirael kissed him back. They kissed with the urgency of two lovers re-united (for that was what they were). They broke apart and Lirael took his hand.

"Come with me," she said and started walking towards her bedroom.
