A/N: Yeah, yeah I know that the sheriff election episode was forever ago but I got an idea for a short one shot about it lol. Regina Mills stood there in the voting booth arguing with herself of who to vote for. Many people were waiting for her to vote and get the hell out of there so that they could vote as well. Well they can go screw themselves. They didn't get what was going on in her mind and never would.
One side of her brain it was telling her to go and vote for Emma. It was well as some people said the angel side. "She did save your life you know? You couldn't have made it out on your own no matter what you wish to believe. If it wasn't for Emma you would be dead." That was what the angel kept repeating to her so she picked up her pen and went to vote for Emma when the devil spoke up. "You heard what Mr. Gold warned you about her and you know exactly who she is. If you dare let her win the election the curse will be broken." Well that brought her back to square one.
Now on the other hand her still evil queen side told her to vote for Sidney, It was the devil's choice of wanting her to vote. "He will do whatever you ask Regina and I think we all know that plus it's another step with your happy ending. Snow would want Emma to win you know?" It was true she obviously had to vote for Sidney she was not going to give Snow or in this world Mary Margaret the satisfaction of someone she likes winning. She picked up her pen yet again and was about to vote for Sidney when her angel spoke up. "Sidney will just destroy this town in 2 seconds. He doesn't know how to run anything. Daniel would've wanted you to do the right thing and not vote for Sidney." Damn that angel was good. Its true Sidney in fairytale land was just a genie turned to mirror. Here he wasn't such a brave person either. He's a writer who can't write anything good. The angel brought up Daniel and she was barely able to keep tears back.
She knew what she had to do and who she was going to vote for.
She picked up her pen and voted for Emma.
As she stepped out and started walking away she told herself: If Emma wins for your own well you must be mad what the fuck are you saying if Emma wins you have to act pissed off! If Sidney wins you have to act like the happiest person on this earth. Even if in your mind and your small heart you feel differently.
