Happy Homecoming

Kagome looked up from where she was working in the garden. Her blue-gray eyes went from concentrated to joy almost immediately. "InuYasha! You're home!" Kagome said, dropping her hoe, and running and jumping into her husband's arms.

He caught her, wrapping his arms around her, his hands firmly holding her up by her bottom. He rested his head between her breasts and breathed deeply. "Kami, but I missed you, Koibito." Her hands wrapped around his neck, sliding under his silver hair, while her lips placed a tiny kiss on each of his triangular ears. He spun her around slowly clasping her closely. "You smell so much better than that bouzo does, especially after a week on the road."

Her laughter rang through the yard. She brushed his bangs out of his eyes, leaned down, and brushed her lips against his. One of his hands slid up her back, clasped the back of her head, and deepened the kiss, hungry, eager to relearn her taste.

"Put me down, InuYasha," Kagome said, still laughing as he spun her in his arms.

The hanyou looked up at her with twinkling eyes. "Oh, I will," he said, carrying her towards the door of their house.

"Don't wake up your son. I just got him to take a nap," she said.

"I'll try," he said. "But you're the one who woke him up the last time."

She mock-slapped at his shoulder, but he swallowed her protest with a kiss as he carried her into the house.
