"Hey Toph! Hurry up! We need to help with repairing the towns and cities from the war." I heard Katara yelled to me. I sighed and walked towards her, and it was pretty easy since she was the only girl around me. I walked up to her and I could sense something was wrong.

"What wrong Princess? Angry that you can't kiss Aang right now?" I asked her in a mocking tone. I heard her growl in frustration.

"No, it's just that Mai girl is such a jerk. I mean, she went up to Zuko, kissed him, told him not to dump her. Then she dumps him. How selfish can a human being get? Fire Lord not good enough for her?" Katara said. I gasped, I couldn't believe my ears, Zuko was dumped...so maybe I can catch him before he falls? I turned towards the temple and used my feet to help guide my way as always. I ran as fast as I could and busted through the palace doors to hear a moan from the prince's room. I stopped in my tracks and turned straight around, but I ran into Zuko. Wait...Zuko?

"Why are you out here? I thought you were in there Sparky" I said pointing back to the room. He sighed.

"No, that's Mai. I let her stay in my old room because she has a headache. But after that, she leaves as quick as she can. I didn't really love her after I dumped her. I...found someone else...and she really trusts me." He whispered. I felt his hand wrap around my waist and pull me close to him. "You always trusted me, even after I burned your feet and yelled at you when we had to find Aang. Toph, I love you."

I felt him pull me into a kiss and I was so happy,

So happy that I was the one,

the one that caught him when he fell.
