Quiet and peace, two nouns that walk side-by-side in this world. Quiet, which means a lack of noise and sharing a meaning with silence. Peace, for a calm state of being. Both of them are welcomed visitors in this small world. At anytime they wish they may freely enter this small apartment. Peace liked to visit on days when the heart beat of life became much more steady and soothing, and when all of the day's assignments and trial were complete. Quiet liked to whisper his way into every room available, taking up space that would be empty without any word to describe it. The two would mingle on rare moments, rare and countable moments that the residents here could count on their fingers and paws.

Three beings were dormant in the early morning glow. Each of them were in there respected places, their private kingdoms where they let their conscious drift. The fourth resident, one on a mission of pure malicious and evil intent, was slowly creeping upon his target. A white feline, with an evil sparkle in his eyes, locked on to his unsuspecting target. One paw in-front of the other, stay low to the comforter, and avoid making contact with any jingling toys. In his eyes, the image of a brown haired cat, lazily swishing its tail to and fro, enjoyed its early morning sleep. Three beings lay sleeping, one lay creeping.

Was it time yet? Should it get another inch or two? The hunting predator question itself inside its simple mind. The White haired feline began to lower its spine closer to the floor it walked upon. Eyes narrowed, focusing only on the other feline in front of it. Muscles began to tense, getting ready to unleash all their held in energy. The back legs suddenly shot, and with a glorious battle meow, the white cat lunged for his prey! Unfortunately, it was immediately flipped upon it back by its 'sleeping' victim. With an evil gleam in its eyes, the Brown cat began to wrestle with the white one. The poor white cat should have waited longer it seemed.

The two balls of fur began to tumble and roll in their mock battle. Paws without claws batted at the other's fur, and strategic pounces were sent across the room. Silence and Peace slowly made their way out of the room, not wanting to disturb the two little creatures, nor to be involved with their magnificent battle. It even progressed from their small little corner of bedding, towards the hallway intersection that led to their owner's rooms. It slowly but surely became an intense display of feline techniques in combat. Continue, it most likely would! Why didn't it? Well, I'd place my money on that fact they collide with the wall. The White and Brown kitties were now laying lazily on-top of each other, taking in what had just happened.

Like their usual tradition, after their heroic shows of strength and kitty-power, they took to the ritual of cleaning each other off. It was a nice little way to help them settle their nerves, while at the same time cleaning their furs. One of the doors slowly creaked open, revealing a teenage girl lazily rubbing her eyes. " Verm, Shappy, what the heck are you two. . . " the girl began, until she eyed the two cats at her door. They had both stopped, mid-lick, to look at her, with Verm ontop of Shappy. The pet owner was silent for a moment, before a loving giggle-snort escaped her before she re-entered her room.

" Brittney's kitty is so cute when he's being molested by mine. "
