Just a poem I wrote inspired by Sonny and Chad.

If we were meant to be

If we were meant to be,

Your eyes would set me free,

When blue met brown,

I would lose the ground,

Every time you came around,

If I was truly yours,

We'd sit on the shores,

Watching the water flow,

Our love would surely grow,

I know,

If you were truly mine,

Everything would be fine,

We would watch the stars at night,

Everything would be alright,

All my worries out of sight,

If I knew you are my love,

I would go beyond and above,

All the average ways of feeling,

I would accuse you of stealing,

My dear heart that needed healing,

But we can never be together,

Though we're two birds of a feather,

We're just two worlds apart,

Even though it breaks my heart,

For now I must depart,

And if we were meant to be,

Your eyes would set me free,

But for now I say good-bye,

So please remember why,

Every tear in my eye,

Was shed for you,

Only you.
