So after a sudden rush of ideas. I am going to be doing some work on my stories. Including this new one. I hope you like it. Likes and Follows are awesome, Reviews are double awesome. Thanks for reading!

Once upon a time, many many years ago there were four kingdoms-

"Wait, I thought King Adam united all the kingdoms into one."

No. Anyway, there were four kingdoms: Sherwood, filled with fae and run by Robin Hood himself.

"Fae, like Fairy Godmother?"

Kind of. Arendelle, a frozen wasteland of ice ruled by Queen Elsa.

"Arendelle wasn't a wasteland. It was close to one but Arendelle itself was nice."

Shut up and let me tell the story. Hell, The Underworld, where the evil and vile would spend eternity under the thumb of Hades.

"How did Hades avoid the Isle of the Lost?"

You try trapping the God of the Underworld on a single island. Finally the largest Kingdom of them all: Aurdon. King Adam's territory. The four kingdoms came together to fight the villains of the land, trapping them all on the Isle of a Lost, a desolate land with no hope, until the day that Prince Ben made his first proclamation, to bring the children of the Isle to the mainland.

A decision that did not sit well with the other three kingdoms.

"Ben?" Belle popped her head into her son's classroom. It was one pm and he was in History class with Professor Thatch. The young king perked up at the sight of his mother but that cheer quickly dissipated when he saw the look on her face. Ben closed his notebook and grabbed his back, halfway out of his seat when he looked up at his teacher.

"May I be excused?" He asked. Professor Thatch sighed but nodded, gesturing for him to go. Ben thanked him and hurried out of the room after his mom.

"What's wrong?" He asked. Belle simply shook her head leading the way to the office Adam still held for himself. She knocked before opening the door, King Adam sat behind his massive oak desk. His glasses were pushed up on top of his head as he waited for his wife.

"Okay now can you tell me what's going on?" Ben asked, settling into one of the large leather arm chairs across from the desk. Ben use to love sitting in while his dad worked. Adam would give him 'work' do to and they would spend hours together.

"We received a letter from Sherwood." Adam replied. A Summons." Ben frowned, looking back and forth between his parents.

"I'm confused. I thought this was something bad, a summons from Sherwood is fun."

"Ben-" Adam paused. "It was fun when you were a prince, you are a king now. Going to Sherwood is no longer about playing with your friends." Adam tossed the letter down on the desk and Ben stood, grabbing it so he could read it.

The letter was on cream colored card stock, the caligraphy flawless as always.

Robin of Locksley

Presence at a meeting

Of the Four Kingdoms.

There was more information under that, a time and a date, two weeks out.

"I'm still confused, this is an invitation." Ben pointed out.

"This is how the summons work. It's framed as a gathering to avoid worrying the people." Adam explained. "If the letter were to fall into the wrong hands, we don't want it getting out that something is going on."

"That's why Marion always writes them." Belle replied. Robin was known for being… a little too blunt.

"Robin was never great at mincing words." Adam agreed.

"Okay, so what is it about?" Ben asked.

"We can only guess but it would be pretty safe to assume it's related to your proclamation." Adam answered.

"They're mad that I want to help the VKs?" Ben asked, Adam shrugged, leaning back in his seat. He rubbed his eyes and nodded at letter in Ben's hands.

"We will find out when we get there I suppose. You have to pick who goes with us. You are going to want certain people."

"I never took people before."

"Before you were going as a prince, a child. You are a king now." Adam reminded him yet again.

Ben thought about that a moment.

"You will want people you trust, someone to act as a right hand, an advisor and you will want some muscle as well. You won't have to use them, at least we never did, but they are good to have." Belle offered for her son, walking over and placing a soft hand on his shoulder.

"I want Mal." That was a no brainer. "She is my right hand. I also want Evie." She was a great advisor. So far she'd only advised on bringing more kids from the Isle but that was better than nothing. It was going so smoothly and that was thanks to Evie and her efforts.

"Um-"

"That's a great idea." Belle interrupted Adam before he could speak. "Show then that you trust the VKs and prove that they are good kids at heart and not what their parents made them."

"How much muscle?" Ben asked.

"As much as you want." Adam replied.

"Jay and Carlos." Ben thought a moment. Carlos wasn't terribly muscled but Ben had seen him in a fight, he could hold his own. But that didn't feel like enough. "And Gil and Harry." The pair had come over to the mainland already. They had been with the first group.

"You're sure?"

"They are strong, loyal and look intimidating."

"Loyal to you?" Belle asked.

"We'll work on that." Ben promised. Adam sighed heavily and took his glasses from the top of his head, placing them on the bridge of his nose.

"Let your friends know, we will get everything arranged for them as far as their class work goes." He watched as Ben started to stand. "And Ben? Remember, you are the king now. The Meeting of the Four Kingdoms is serious, and should be treated as such."

"I know, dad."
