Grimmjow rolled about on the bed restlessly, reading a magazine. Ulquiorra was reading a novel quietly beside him. "Hey, Ulqui, when's your birthday again? January?" Ulquiorra looked up, conceding one nod before continuing his reading. "The 15th, right?" Ulquiorra hummed.
Grimmjow was silent for a while, kicking his legs leisurely as he continued to read. Then he let out a bark of laughter.
"What is it now?" Ulquiorra waited patiently until his boyfriend to stopped laughing. Grimmjow turned over to look at him, a smile strong on his face.
"Alright, since you're born in January, you're a Capricorn, right. Listen to this. ' while Capricorns are naturally reserved people, below the surface is a sensual, pleasure seeking the lover. Capricorns are very sexy.'" Grimmjow took a moment to continue laughing, spurred on by the odd look on Ulquiorra's face.
"What exactly are you reading?" Ulquiorra asked softly, taking a peek at the glossy magazine pages and seeing the headline 'let the signs connect you and your lover!'. Grimmjow shrugged.
"Matsumoto left it laying around, so I picked it up. I was bored." there was another long moment of silence, Grimmjow reading and Ulquiorra watching the back of Grimmjow's head. "Ew. I'm so not like that."
"Like what?"
"I'm a Leo, July 25th. This says that Leos are showoffs, arrogant, and childish." Grimmjow turned again to look at Ulquiorra, on the verge of sulking. "I am not childish!" the corners of Ulquiorra's mouth quirked up just a little. "And apparently, the Leo's passionate way of loving scares off his possible matches. I don't scare you do I? This stuff is a load of bull." Grimmjow tossed the magazine over his shoulder.
Ulquiorra caught it, studying the various combinations. "It says that Capricorn and Leo are very good together." this caught Grimmjow's interest again.
"Oh yea? What does it say?" Grimmjow crawled up the bed towards his lover, kissing his cheek and looking at the magazine from his new comfortable position on Ulquiorra's chest.
"It says that Capricorn and Leo need to work out who is in charge, and that they are complete opposites, but on the same wavelength. And that in bed, Leo gives wonderful performances that can satisfy Capricorn's sex drive, and Leo's need to be praised."
Grimmjow was silent. "What kind of performances? Cause I'm up for anything." Grimmjow grinned at his boyfriend, knowing the expression on Ulquiorra's face meant that he was smiling too.
