Title: The Storm Heir

Author: fayetonic

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. He belongs to J.K Rowling. I'm not making any money off of this…I'm just trying to improve my writing. I do own however Lizzy Potter, the plot and all the other stuff that isn't canon.

Rating: PG-13

Pairing: Lily/James for now

Summary: The prophecy spoke of Lizzy Potter as the savior of the Wizarding World. How wrong the Wizarding World was.

Authors Note: I know it's been done before. But, this plotbunny wouldn't leave me alone till I wrote it. I plan to have more chapters then this and I know the prologue is pretty short but that's the best I can do for now. I don't know when I'll update next but hopefully it'll be soon. Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy!

When Lily Potter first found out that she was pregnant, she immediately ran to tell her husband James the good news. James was ecstatic when told. He was going to be a father! He'd be able to teach his child how to fly their first broom, and the best way to dodge an irate Lily when you only turned her hair into the color of a rainbow for about a hour or two. He'd teach his son or daughter the ways of the Mauraders. Their child would be the next generation of pranksters.

That night when they lay in bed tired from earlier celebrations, the two parents-to-be contemplated over their future child's name.

"If it's a boy, I say we name him James Jr. after me, of course." James said stroking Lily's still-flat stomach.

Lily rolled her eyes.

"We're going to name him Harry." she announced stubbornly.

"Harry?" James wrinkled his nose. "Isn't that name a bit…plain, dear?"

Lily immediately sat up clutching the sheet to her bare chest. Her green eyes blazed with fire.

"Harry is a lovely name!" she snapped. "It was my father's name, James!"

James winced at his wife's outburst.

"I'm sorry, dear. Harry is a nice name. If he's a boy we'll name him that for sure. I get to name our next child though, Lils." he said. "Now lay down, baby. Let's get some sleep."

Lying back down, Lily bid goodnight to her husband. Mentally, she sent a goodnight to her unborn fetus.

Goodnight, my little Slytherin.

That same night in the pub of Hogshead, Sybil Trelawney was on a job interview. She was very determined to work in Hogwarts as the Divination Teacher. That night, after a couple of butterbeers, Sybil Trelawney made her first ever prophecy.

Born to the stag and the flower

The child who is known as the second

Will be marked as the heir of the storm

The child will rise in tears and ashes

The lion will defeat the snake

"Madame Trelawney, I welcome you to Hogwarts." Headmaster Dumbledore said to the slightly dazed witch.

Thank Merlin that the two were in a secluded corner in the Hogs Head Inn. What Dumbledore didn't know was that someone did hear the prophecy. And, that person was eager to leave and report to his Lord.

Several months later on July 31st, 1980, Harry James Potter entered the world with bright emerald green eyes and unruly ebony-colored hair. He was the apple of his parent's eye; a mini-James to many.

When Harry was a little over a year old, Lily was given wonderful news. She was pregnant again with their second child. Later a daughter was born named Elizabeth Rose Potter.

When Elizabeth was born, Albus Dumbledore had no doubt that she was the child that the prophecy spoke of. She was the one who would defeat Voldemort.

Lizzy Potter would be their savior.

How wrong they were.
