Tears
Diamonds falling from crystal pools of blue
You look at her, and they pierce right through
Your heart.
Your arm around her, trying with no results
To console the spirit and heart, that has so many splits, so many snaps
You try desperately to fill the gaps, clinging to her for your dear life.
You never wanted this to be, you were just friends.
Forever to be
Always the comrade, or worrying soul, never the one, the one she wants to
Embrace
You can feel her heart beating, and you shouldn't be this close.
A hole in your heart, and each day you can feel it grow worse
Because she's always crying, crying for her loses, from which you lost too.
A wall is built between her and the world.
You break it down when you get close.
She clings to you, tells you all.
But you cannot stand to watch her fall.
Always further from her perch, on your side
And she gets worse.
You try to save her, but the beats are almost gone.
Laying in a hospital bed, she whispers to you, "You'll always be the one. To you I'm true."
And her crystal tears end forever more.
