Hello, fellow readers! Here's a one-shot for you peeps on ten year old Nico di Angelo. I do not own Percy Jackson, the credit goes to Rick Troll Riordan. One day the PJO/HOO characters will be freed from their prison! Anyway, read and enjoy.

Nico hated this 'quest' his sister had to attend. Never, in years, have they been apart. Nico found the concept of being a demigod cool, don't get him wrong! But he missed his sister more than ever now. After… Joey? Chloe? Chloe maybe. Anyways, after Chloe explained that his sister was immortal, he was flabbergasted. He literally just sat there, his mouth ajar. But then she explained that Bianca wouldn't be by his side as often. Nico felt a bit bad at that. Was she leaving because of him? Did he do something to offend her? Nico's mind raced with question after question as he laid in his sleeping bag in Cabin Eleven. Was Bianca okay? Was she gonna come back? Will Percy stick to his wish? He sighed. Nico's head was pounding from all the confusion.

The ten year old turned onto his side. He won't fail. He's a true hero. But what if?

Nico stared at his surroundings. Piles of Hermes kids were asleep around him. The Stolls were hugging stolen chicken wire. Trish Figg was sleeping on a mountain of stolen pillows. The sleeping demigods bored Nico in an instant. He turned on his back and stared at the ceiling. Recently, Anges Humming told him that they store some equipment in the roof.

"What'll happen if the roof breaks?" Nico had asked. Anges just shrugged. That didn't exactly reassure him. Nico pushed up from the floor and stared at the open window. He wondered how late it was. And what his sister was doing.

His sister…

Bianca.

Nico huffed. He hated this stress. This anxiety to meet with his sister again. He stood up and tiptoed past the Hermes' kids. One of them started hugging his ankle, but Nico slipped from his grasp easily. Finally, he exited the cabin. The cold night air billowing on his face. Nico breathed in some sweet oxygen, happy to get out of the crowd. He snuck around the cabins and down to the beach.

The ocean was a calming place. Maybe it could clear his head. But as soon as his eyes met the salty water, he thought of Percy. Percy promised. He promised. But did he really mean it? Of course he did!

Stop worrying, di Angelo, Nico scolded himself.

Nico reached to his hand and felt the skull ring his sister gave him the night before she departed. She loves you, Nico told himself. She doesn't hate you. You did nothing. He stared down at the mini skull face. She'll be back.

I just have to be patient.
