Mira looked at me, smiling.
"But don't worry master, I can take care of myself now."

Why does chest hurts so much?
I tried to hold back my tears, but failed. Even though I tried to hide it, it looks like she noticed.
"Master?"
While looking straight at me, her eyes began to glisten with tears.
"Didn't we promise not to cry?".
"Didn't we promise to smile on our last day?"
"I'm sorry..." I replied.
"Master..."
Tears started to drop from her eyes.
"Why can't my tears stop? Even though I cried till my eyes were dry last night. Even though we promised to smile when we say goodbye. Why?" Mira continued to barrage me with questions.
Without saying a word, I hugged her.
"Master..."
"U-uwaaaaaaaaa"
Mira started to cry. Listening to her sobbing really hurts my heart. But now that it has come to this, there's nothing else I can do.
I could only hug her until she stopped crying.

The time for parting is nigh.
Once again, for the last time, Mira stared at me. With her eyes still red from all that crying, she smiled at me.
I smiled back at her while patting her head. After that, I put my face close to hers, staring at her directly in the eyes, and softly whispered.
"As long as we remember each other, we'll never be apart."
