A/N: hello there! So if your reading this that may very well mean that you've decided to give my unusual story a chance. I recently became obsessed with crossover ships and decided to make one of my own. It takes place in an AU very similar to the world's Jasmine and Tarzan live in. It was a typical day in Agraba. The sun was shining, the birds singing, and the Sultan pleading with his daughter. The topic of his plight was the same as always: he wanted her to find a suitor and give him some grandchildren. Jasmine was growing tired of her father's nagging. She would only marry for love, and he would just have to respect that. Standing out on her balcony one night she sighed to herself. " Why can't he just understand? I only want to marry for love!" upon further reflection she added " and just why do I have to get married now? I'm still young and I've never set foot outside of Agraba." That thought took root in her mind and began to grow. All through the night it expanded until she had reached a resolution. The next morning Jasmine came before her father the Sultan with a proposition. "Papa, I want to go on a journey. A trip across the sea." Here the Sultan opened his mouth to object but was cut off, as the princess had expected this. "I promise that upon my return I will marry. You have my Salome word." It took quite some time to convince the flustered ruler to allow her to go. Once he consented plans were hastily made and bags were packed. "I'll miss you Papa." Jasmine said, bidding her father farewell. "And I you Jasmine. Be careful." With that she was off. Jasmine had never been on a ship before. She didn't particularly like it, but this was her adventure and she was going to make the most of it. For several days all she saw was the blue of ocean and sky. This journey was proving to be much less exciting than she had anticipated. 'Why can't something interesting happen? Like….oh, I don't know! Anything!' Jasmine thought in frustration. 'A storm even!' People often say to be careful what you wish for, and those people are right. Not a moment after the princess thought this thunder shook the sky. As the storm grew, the entire ship became alert. The soon escalated into total chaos. Jasmine was forcefully made to take cover below deck as waves battered the ship. Creaking wood. Unintelligible shouts. Thunder. This was all she could here. Then suddenly the sound of something breaking. Water was seeping into the ship rapidly. Then there was a sudden jolt as the wooden craft struck something. Cold wet darkness was the last thing Jasmine remembered feeling. Then…nothing.
