This is my first attempt so bear with me...
It was moaning... no, sobbing. Sobbing was what Bellamy Blake heard at what he assumed to be two in the morning. He wasn't sleeping anyways so he stumbled out of bed and went to investigate. It wasn't long till he spotted a familiar silhouette outlined in the warm glow of a dying fire. Clarke sat weeping softly to herself, seemingly unaware of him until she spoke.
"I know your there Bellamy. " she wasn't crying anymore, but she didn't sound anywhere near all right.
"Sorry to intrude, I just uh…heard you… ill go now, if you want me too." Please don t tell me to leave.
"NO. Don't leave, stay, and sit." She motioned him over and patted the ground beside her without looking up. In the light of the fire he could see her eyes were rimmed with red. He wished he could reach out and hug her. "Talk, say something anything. Don't just sit there."
"Okay, then what's wrong?" He glanced sideways at her and caught her staring at him. Embarrassed he dropped his gaze and began drawing in the dirt waiting for her reply.
"Anything BUT that. Trust me when I say you do NOT want to know. You don't care about my problems" Problem was… he did. He had fallen for her. He looked directly into her eyes while he still had the courage.
"But what if I do? What if I care about your problems? What if I care about YOU?" He saw something flash in her eyes, was it… Longing? She couldn't be feeling the same way about him could she? She still hated him for trashing the radio. He must have been mistaken.
"Its stupid. I shouldn't even be crying. I'm just over reacting." She paused to wipe her tears away while shaking her head, and then glanced at him. "I just, it's because of you. I feel like I can't even breathe when I'm around you. YOU make me so… so ANGRY, but so happy and its frustrating." Her eyes were threatening tears; he could hear it in her voice. Her head was turned away from him. "I feel like I'm falling for you, and its stupid. A relationship should be the last thing on my mind right now, but there is something about you." He felt as if she was reading his mind.
"Clarke." She wiped her tears and looked at him. He looked down at his dirt drawing. Then back up into her eyes "I feel the same." He mumbled. Tears welled up in her eyes and he pulled her onto him. She was smiling into his neck, and laughing. He couldn't stop himself from smirking and letting out low throaty chuckle himself. " So the Princess falls for the rebel. Tell me was it my charming smile?" she pulled back and laughed at him.
"NO!" She playfully punched him the arm.
"Well then it must have been my hot bod?" He said while flexing his arms. Again a laugh and then a "no." She leaned into him and the sat watching the fire for what felt to him like forever.
"It was all that and more. You challenge me, you make me better." He turned to stare at her. She caught his gaze, he leaned down to kiss her and when her lips parted beneath hers a shock passed between them. "Oh" she sighed and continued the kiss. He pulled her on top of him so she was sitting facing him. He pulled back and looked deep into her eyes, she bit her lip and nodded at him. Bellamy stood and helped Clarke up; once she was standing he picked her up. She giggled and he carrying her ran to his tent. He laid her down carefully on his makeshift bed, and then slipped in beside her. Clarke snuggled up partially on top of him.
"You are perfection, Clarke."
