Yuri had finally escaped her parents. She bolted down the street, turning on a dime she raced around the corner. Wearing a school uniform, she attracted many stares for most schools ended over an hour ago. As she ran past a museum a strange sight caught her eye. She slowly backed up. There was a café with some girls yelling at another green-haired one with glasses on the ground. They were all wearing school uniforms different from Yuri's.
Yuri knew that the girls had to stop. She ran towards them, and their voices became clearer.
"Why would we want hot coffee when it's scorching hot outside!?" A blonde screamed at the green.
"But that's what you wanted," The green girl started to say.
"We changed our minds!" one of them cried.
Yuri ran in between the green haired girl and the others. "Leave her alone!" she told them.
A little blonde haired girl appeared next to her. She was wearing an orange Chinese shirt and brown shorts. "Pick on someone your own size!" she cried. One of the girls swiped at her head. She ducked and swerved in between their legs saying, "You can't catch me!" She then jumped on top of a metal pole behind Yuri.
As she jumped from pole to pole Mashi was amazed but knelt down and asked the girl, "Are you okay?" When she saw the girls shocked look, she smiled. The girl looked even more surprised then smiled back.
Quietly she said, "I'm fine, but will have to apologize to them later."
Yuri cocked her head to the side. Confusion was clearly written on her face. "Why," She started. But she was interrupted when one the bullies grabbed onto the girls hair and yanked her up.
"Owwwww!!!" the girl screamed. Her face was contorted with pain.
"Stop screwing around!" the girl yelled. She had one of the glasses of hot coffee in her other hand. "Watch, now she's gonna have to pay for this!!"
Out of the corner of her eye, Yuri saw a girl with pink hair start to run towards them. She had on a red turtleneck tee and white skirt. A girl with blue hair and a blue dress on stood behind her. But right in front of her there was a girl with purple hair and a beautiful purple dress with a white shawl on top. She grabbed the hand with the coffee.
"What are you doing?" She yelled. "Do you want to get hurt?!"
"No," the other girl replied calmly. "I don't think so." She flipped over the girl's wrist making her let go of the coffee and the other girls braid.
"That hurts!" the bully screamed painfully.
Yuri watched amazed as the girl with purple hair let go of the girl's wrist and pushed her away.
"You'd better watch your back!" She yelled. The three bullies joined and left.
All six of the girls made sure the girl with glasses was all right.
After everything was deemed all right everyone started to leave. A small tremor passed through the ground, then intensified with each passing moment. For a split second all was still. Then the earthquake was so large you fell to the ground. A black panther nuzzled your head. You looked up at it. A feeling of deep understanding passed between the two of you. The panther burst into light and went flying inside of Yuri. She let out a pained cry and blacked out. When she awoke she was on the living room couch in her house.
