Surprise! So, I know that a lot of you thought I was just going to leave Forever Is Ours as is. I am. This is just a sequel. Sorta. So, welcome to How Forever Began.
Disclaimer: I don't own them.
Liz POV
I walked onto the set.
I had been so excited to hear that I had gotten the part of Jade West on the new Nickelodeon show Victorious!
I was going to get to work with some great actors and actresses.
I saw Ariana walk in after me.
She ran up and hugged me. I laughed with her as she let go of me.
"Hey, Ari!" I exclaimed excitedly.
"Ah! Hey Liz! I can't believe we get to work together again!" She smiled brightly. She could light up any room.
We walked down the hallway, taking in everything while excitedly chatting about our summers and our new job.
I pushed open the door to the conference room we were supposed to go to, to meet our new co-stars. As we walked in we saw a room full of crew workers, wardrobe designers, make-up artists, and so many more people.
It was huge and awesome! Ari stayed close to me as we got a little further into the room.
We had begun to talk as the door opened and in came a boy, followed by a girl who jumped on his back yelled, "Gotcha!"
They seemed completely wrapped up in each other until she fake shoved the boy and he fell into Ariana, who fell into me.
Ari shrieked a little as I began to fall, but the boy grabbed my arm and pulled me up before I hit the ground.
"Thanks." I said.
He smiled. He was pretty cute. He had dark brown eyes that you could look into for hours, if you had the time, with short curly dark brown hair to match.
"Sorry." He apologized, holding out his hand. "I'm Avan Jogia."
His eyes locked with mine and he didn't make an effort to pull them away or let go of my hand.
"Yep," The girl said as the boy- Avan Jogia- cleared his throat and let go of my hand. "And I'm Victoria Justice."
I knew who she was, though. I'd seen her on iCarly, and several other things. As well as the boy, I just didn t recognize him.
"Okay, well," I said. "Avan Jogia and Victoria Justice, I'm Elizabeth Gillies, and this is Ariana Grande. We'll be co-starring with you."
"Wait," Avan Jogia began. "Elizabeth Gillies? As in, Jade West, Elizabeth Gillies?"
"Uhm, yeah, why?" I asked.
He ran his hand through his hair and laughed a little.
He had a really sweet laugh. But I shook the thoughts of how hot he was out of my head; because I figured that he and Victoria Justice were probably going out, judging by their grand entrance just minutes before.
"I'm playing Beck Oliver." He told us.
All I could manage to say was, "Wow."
Victoria looked a little uncomfortable at first.
"Yeah, so, hey Avan, we should go meet the other cast members." She tugged on his arm a little.
He glanced away from me at her.
"In a minute. I wanna talk to Elizabeth and Ariana a little more." He looked back at us. She looked a bit put off for a moment.
"Oh, okay." She walked off into the mass of people.
Avan pulled out a chair for me, and a chair for Ariana, and sat across from us.
"So, Elizabeth, Ariana, where are you guys from?"
"You can call me Liz."
"We're from New York." Ariana answered.
"New York...you must be the girls off Broadway, then?"
"Yeah. We were in 13 the Musical together." I said.
"Cool! What's it like being on Broadway? Y'know? Away from the camera?" He inquired.
I laughed a bit at his comments.
"You're never truly away from the camera. There's always someone in the audience with a handheld camera or a phone that takes videos." I said.
"Oh. Well, I probably should have figured that."
"No, it's fine, really. What about you? Tell us about you." I said.
Ariana nodded.
"Well, I'm seventeen, I've been acting for a while, and that's pretty much it. I'm a simple guy." I could tell that was a lie.
This boy was in no way simple. His clothing choices screamed complicated.
"Ah. You seem pretty close to Victoria Justice. Are you guys...?" Ariana asked.
"What? Me and Vic? No! We've never dated. She's more like a best friend." He stated.
"What about you guys? How old are you two?" He asked after a moment of awkward silence.
"We're sixteen, and really close. We shared a dressing room during 13." Ariana said.
I could see Victoria watching us.
"Hey, Avan! Would you come help me out?" She called over to him.
"Sorry, I've gotta go, Justice calls!" He joked.
"It was great meeting you," He said, then looked at me again. "And, I'm sorry again about knocking you over." His hand brushed his hand over my arm purposely, and he walked over to Victoria.
I could tell he had a bit of a crush on her, and that she definitely had a crush on him.
"He's hot!" Ariana said.
I laughed at her straightforward comment.
"Yeah, and I get to be his on-screen romance." I said with a bit of sarcasm.
Ariana s eyes opened wider.
"Can I switch you roles?"
"Sorry, but, you ve already dyed your hair pink." I said touching her hair.
"Aw, man. You re so lucky, Liz!" She said looking a bit downcast.
"Yeah, really lucky. I get to kiss a guy who is in love with the lead." I said glancing at Avan and Victoria, who were laughing.
"I don't know. He said he and Victoria weren't going out."
"Well, did you ever think that maybe they want to keep it a secret? They are famous, after all."
"Well, we re not exactly not-famous."
I rolled my eyes.
"Come on, Ari. Let's go meet the rest of them."
"Okay!"
We met a guy named Matt Bennett, who was easy to talk to and was very humorous, and would be playing Robbie Shapiro. He introduced us to Leon Thomas 3, who would be playing Andre Harris.
We stayed pretty close to each other, since they were both pretty accustomed to the movie sets, and we weren't.
"Vic, you gotta meet the rest of them soon. I'd like to meet them now." I heard the boy named Avan say.
He was dragging Victoria in our direction.
Leon and Matt introduced themselves, but Matt and Avan already knew each other.
We stood in silence for a couple of minutes.
A man I recognized walked up to us.
"Hey Dan," We all said, referring to the producer.
"Hey guys. I take it you've all met?"
We all muttered a yes.
"Good! So, I want to talk to Vic, Elizabeth, and Avan."
Leon, Matt and Ari walked off to get something to drink. I was nervous.
"Yeah, Dan, what's up?" Victoria asked him.
"Well, first off: have you all gotten your scripts? Yes. Okay, then. So, I take it that, Avan, Elizabeth, you know that you re playing Beck and Jade?" I nodded, as did Avan.
"Oh, and, call me Liz. Please." I said.
"Avan, Liz, I want you to know that we'd like you guys to get to know each other better. We need them to believe that your characters are going out. And Vic, well, I guess there's not much to say to you. You've known Avan for a long time. Oh, wait. I need you to go to the costume designer's over there and see which of those dresses fits you."
Vic nodded and left after Dan did.
Avan POV
I ran down the hallway, Vic chasing me.
I heard her giggle as she got close and I opened the door to the conference room, which I knew would be hectic anyway and she caught up with me and jumped on my back.
"Gotcha!" She yelled.
She hopped off my back and laughed at me.
"I haven't seen you for a month and you greet me by chasing me down the hallway, then jumping on my back!" I joked.
She laughed at me. "Avan Jogia! You're such a joker! I did not chase you down the hallway, until you yelled, 'I can beat you to the meeting room'!" She pushed me a little and I fell backwards into someone, then turned around and caught the girl that was now falling.
"Thanks," The girl said. She had piercing blue eyes, and light brown hair, and fair pale skin, that made her look fragile. She looked like a usually pretty happy person. I saw a small smile flicker over her face. She was beautiful, and her skin was soft. I mean, yeah, Vic was really pretty, and had an amazing smile, but if only this girl would smile, or laugh, it would make her look like a goddess.
I couldn't take my eyes away from hers. They were so beautiful. I didn't realize her hand was still in mine, until Vic put her hands on my shoulders and said, "Yep. And I'm Victoria Justice!"
I didn't remember introducing myself, but by the look on her face, I probably had.
She'd taken all of my functioning thoughts away with those mesmerizing eyes.
The beautiful girl introduced herself as Elizabeth Gillies, and the pretty girl next to her was introduced as Ariana Grande.
Elizabeth Gillies...The name sounded so familiar. Oh my god!
"Elizabeth Gillies? As in, Jade West, Elizabeth Gillies?"
She nodded.
I laughed a little. I actually began to feel really nervous, and really happy.
"I'm playing Beck Oliver." I get to be her on screen romance.
Vic tried to get me to go meet the others, but I wanted to stay. This girl had me in a whole different world.
O.o First chapter, YAY! I'll be updating tomorrow. I promise. R&R (I edited this chapter)
