Aiden knew Marian and Giorgio had been together for years now, but of course no one else knew. They kept it hidden so well. Giorgio told everyone he had a girlfriend that was a fashion model, so she was always traveling. But three years had passed and no one had ever met the woman. Marian said she had a boyfriend who traveled a lot, but to Aiden it seemed as if she were hiding something. Everyone in town knew Marian was transgender, when Aiden first met her he thought of her as a colorful bird. Giorgio was strange to him in the manner that he spoke, he sounded snobbish but never said an unkind word. Aiden was just a visitor in this town, just trying to find his own way in life. He made a few friends but most of his time was spent watching, and through watching his suspicions were confirmed. Giorgio and Marian could often be seen together, everyone thought them just friends but late at night, while the town was sleeping, Giorgio and Marian would meet up outside town. They'd hug and kiss, hold hands while talking, Marian would always ask when they would tell everyone and Giorgio would sigh and tell her he hoped someday soon. The little town wasn't ready for their relationship, and until it was they tried to keep it secret. Only night time rendezvous spent in each others arms, when the sun rises they will just be friends instead of lovers.

Aiden attended the fireworks show, watching the fireworks he was reminded of home and all the people that waited for his return. Marian sat in the row ahead of him, watching her steal sideways glances at Giorgio with a sad smile on her lips. They couldn't even sit together at festivals, afraid that they wouldn't be able to control themselves from taking the others hand. Slowly as not to be seen, Aiden took Raeger's hand in his, and held it a little more tightly than he probably should. Reager looked at him, soft spoken words lost to the sound of fireworks and cheers, but Aiden didn't need to hear to know his partners fear. He smiled not caring who sees. The fireworks ended, leaving a strange silence and Raeger looked at Aiden with fearful eyes.

"I want you to move home with me Raeger." Aiden whispered so only he could hear.

The Idea of moving from the only home he'd ever known terrified him. "Whats wrong with staying here?"

Aiden drew his attention toward Marian and Giorgio, seeing a longing in their eyes as they walked together then slowly parted. Touching Reager's face he kissed him softly. "I love you…and I won't live a lie."

Raeger threw his arms around Aiden's neck, hugging him tightly. "Lets go home."
