Hey guys how are you so after watching today's episode of Grey's I was completely inspired to watch this now I love both Omelia and Towen. So, I have no issues with who he ends up with however this current bliss between Owen and Amelia to me feels like a temporary thing kind of like the calm. Before, the storm and I believe that once he knows about the baby that's when the real drama is going to set in because to me it looks as if Teddy has no plans on wanting to break whatever Owen and Amelia have. Going, on but we will see give me your thoughts on this whole triangle in the review section and let me know what you all think about it, also just to note quickly Betty does not exist in this story so it's as if she never entered their lives in the first place and Piper is Amelia's from a random one night stand she had .

Piper's P.O.V

Ever since our move to Seattle life had been pretty good for me and my mum she was finally clean from drugs and alcohol, although there was a period where I thought she might relapse. After, uncle Derek's death she proved us wrong by rising above it and becoming stronger in the process. She even found herself in a stable relationship with Owen and for once I finally saw the peace and contentment in her eyes. Something I never thought I would see and after all that we have been through a little peace and stability was definitely welcomed. Although she went through a brief breakup with Owen in which, for some unknown reason she told him to go back to this woman in Germany, which thankfully for my mum didn't work out and instead he came home and adopted Leo with my mum and they finally sorted themselves out and this time. They were actually going to try for a real and proper relationship and I thought I would finally get the family I was dreaming for, yes things seemed to finally be looking up for us or so I thought. I guess I should have known better then to get my hopes up because clearly life isn't supposed to be perfect and I over anyone should know that. However, for so long I dreamed of this perfect family that when I finally got it the thought of someone coming along to ruin it was not something I wanted or expected and I was going to fight like hell. I, had waited what felt like a life time for my mother to get her life in order and no one was going to destroy it not if I could help it.

My day was like every other day I went to school and after school I would go to the hospital and hangout with my mum or Owen, sometimes I would even go to the day care and play with Leo if I was in the mood for sibling affection. Although these days I did find myself visiting Leo more often because who could resist playing with the most adorable little boy I had ever laid eyes on, I loved being a big sister and I guess because up until now I never had that chance I was making the most of the opportunity to be a big sister. So, when I arrived at the hospital and was about to make my way to the day care seeing my mum walking up to me with a look of insecurity and doubt on her face made me wonder what was up with her.

"Hey mum, I was just about to text you are you okay you look as though you have seen a ghost or something?"

Within seconds she dragged me into an empty exam room and began pacing around the room, something was definitely up she never did this unless she was insecure about something.

"Piper, you know how we have been happy yeah and you know how much I love Owen yeah?"

"Of, course mum I know how much you love him but what is up with you did he say something that made you think otherwise or because I will kill him if he did. I don't care if he has become somewhat a dad to me I won't hesitate in hurting him if he hurt you."

Although, I meant it at the time I was pretty sure I wasn't going to be able to put a dent in Owen but still I also wasn't going to allow him to hurt her again I love her way too much to see that happen again.

"No, he didn't say anything but rather it wasn't a what it's more of a who."

"Okay, you're not making a whole lot of sense mum, alright what are we talking about here is it someone from his family or?"

"No, remember how I told you I sent Owen to Germany to be with Teddy Altman his best friend and you said I was nuts for doing so?"

"Yeah, I do."

"Well she's back and Bailey offered her interim chief and I don't know what possible reason she could have for being back because she kicked Owen out of her apartment."

"Ok, I think I get it now you're worried that she may be after Owen again and you're afraid of losing him to her am I right?"

"Yes, exactly Piper and I don't know what to do because I have never found myself in a situation like this before and it's confusing and completely foreign to me."

As mum was ranting to me I suddenly realised that the woman, who knocked on our doorstep this morning must have been Teddy and when she told her that her mum lived with Owen. She must have caught her off guard and that was why she made the excuse of going to the wrong house, what had me confused was why she came back. In the first place because according to mum what happened between them ended badly so there had to be some other logical explanation, as to why she would fly half way across the world for someone she was not speaking to. Well whatever the reason was I knew I had to speak with Teddy and convince her to go back to Germany there was no way I was going to allow her to ruin the family I dreamed of having.

"Look, mum you have to fight especially if you want Owen I know it may be foreign to you but you have to fight and don't let her win fight for your man."

"I, know Pipe's when I spoke with Tom he basically told me the same thing but I just need reassurance that this is what I should do."

"Alright look, I'll pick up Leo and take him out for a while in the meantime go home and talk with Owen about it okay."

"Are, you sure Piper?"

"Yes, mum go and see him."

With that mum left the exam room and once I knew she had definitely left the area, I walked out of the room determined to find this Teddy and get her to leave and given that she was a doctor I knew she was probably around the hospital somewhere. As I walked around I began to doubt that she was in the hospital until I came across the cardiac unit and saw Maggie treating her, I walked behind a corridor and waited till Maggie had left once she left I walked into the room.

"You're the girl who opened the door for me this Morning."

"Yes, I'm Piper Shepherd."

The minute I said my last name I saw her expression begin to change from a look of hurry to a look of not her too, I guess it was safe to say she probably had a clear idea of who I was.

"You're, Amelia Shepherd's daughter, aren't you?"

"Yeah, I am and we need to talk like now, you have to leave Seattle and don't come back here again."

"I, don't know who you think you are but I will decide if I need to leave here or not."

"Look, you being here impacts on my mum and the family I used to dream of having but now finally have and I will not allow you to ruin because you're, hung up on Owen he has finally moved on and he doesn't need you to confuse him anymore."

"What, are you your mother's puppet or something and so we are clear I had no intentions of ever coming back here when I told Owen I was done I meant it."

"Okay, do you think I am stupid or something you obviously still have feelings for him otherwise you would have no reason to come back here."

I know, I may have come across as being rude but I wasn't about to let her destroy something I used to only dream of having. So, if my mother wasn't going to tell this lady to go back I certainly had no issues in doing so I wanted to keep my family. So, I kept going at because I figured she was lying because she didn't want to admit to me that she still had feelings, however as I kept going at her I saw something snap in her I guess she finally had enough of me hounding her with accusations.

"Alright, would you shut the hell up god you are annoying, I'm not here because I want Owen I'm here because I am eleven weeks pregnant with his kid and for the record I am going back to Germany alright. After I get this clot removed from my femoral artery."

Whatever I expected, her to tell me a baby was definitely not on that list and this now only complicated this whole situation even more because now this woman was going to be a constant presence in their lives. Of all the things he had to while he was over there, didn't he think for a second about using a condom or something god you would think, professional doctors who clearly preached about safe sex would know to do exactly that. Well clearly, they forgot to take their own advice and now look at where it has gotten everyone.

"Well I'm guessing Owen has no clue so when are you planning on telling him?"

"Look, Piper I just want to get out here and go home alright you want me gone so I'm going to get out of everyone's hair and leave."

"You're joking, right you're pregnant with Owen's kid and you're not planning on telling him at all, he has a right to know that he has a kid on the way."

"What is, with you first you demand I leave now you want me to stay and tell him about the baby I mean make up your mind already."

"Yeah well, that was before you told me that you're pregnant with his kid and you're not leaving this country until he knows and if you won't tell him I will."

After I said this she let out a loud and cold chuckle along with an expression that clearly read that she was not amused by what I had just said, I normally would never do something like this. However, there was no way I was going to let this woman leave the country without telling him about his baby that would be arriving in a few months.

"Are you, blackmailing me now?"

"You're, smart figure it out I'm simply warning you tell him about this baby and I won't have to if you choose not to then I will because like hell am I going to allow you to take. Off back to Germany without telling him because you know as well as I do that it's not right for him to not know about the baby also think about your child. What are you supposed to say when your kid asks, about their dad because believe me I've been there and it's not pretty in fact it's confusing so if you care about your child you'll do the right thing."

"Fine, alright god you really are annoyingly persistent I'll tell him myself when I am cleared by Maggie okay but just let me tell him because I have to be the one to tell him okay it can't come from anyone but me."

"Fine but you have until then to tell him and if you don't I will and I won't wait for you to do so, so we agree that you will tell him yourself once you're out of the hospital."

"Yes, I agree okay now if you don't mind can you please leave my room this whole conversation has already stressed me enough."

After this I finally decided to leave the room feeling somewhat confident that she would do the right thing but still there was a small part of me feeling doubtful about how truthful she was being. However, at this point I had to hope that she would keep her word and the next few days would tell me whether or not my conversation had worked but for now I had to head home and pick up Leo on the way and pray that this bit on news won't ruin everything good in my life right now.
