"Mind if I hide out in here?" Dave looked up from his paperwork to see Derek sticking his head inside.
"If you're hiding from Penelope, then no."
"Ah come on man! You've been around a pregnant woman before!" Dave raised an eyebrow as he leaned back.
"Twice with my own wife if you recall Henry and Carissa." Derek slipped inside and sat in the chair across from the older man. Dave frowned at him. "Didn't I say no?"
"Look man, you've gotta help me! I'm too scared to ask Hotch and JJ would feed me to the wolves."
"Said woman will be the wolves if I let you hide from your wife. Be a man, Derek."
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Dave jumped at Derek's panicked scream. "She's got two sides. The beauty and the beast and occasionally the two sides collide! I come home at night and don't know whether I'll get some lovin' or some couch time."
"Welcome to the world of parenthood. Now, please leave my office or I will receive couch time." Derek sighed.
"Too late. Aiding and embedding a fugitive. And here I thought I taught you better than that, David Rossi." Dave raised his hands in surrender.
"I told him no, that he couldn't be in here. We see how well he listens."
"You're a big boy, Dave. Kick him out. Literally if you have to."
"That hurts JJ. That really hurts."
"Good. Goodbye, Derek." Derek waved his hand as he stood and brushed past the blonde on the way out. "It's a good thing I didn't tell him."
"Tell him what?" Jen grinned at her husband wickedly.
"That Garcia heard him"
