Hey guys! I edited the story! :) This little story is in Piper's POV and includes Jasper (not the kind Jasper shippers would enjoy, though) and a dash of Liper. Inner thoughts are in brackets [].

Disclaimer: I do not own the PJO/HOO series. Hope you like it! :)

[Tonight was going to be perfect].

Yesterday, Piper had finally gotten the guts to ask out Jason Grace. She'd been planning this date for a month. The cabin was at dinner, Leo was still working on his ship, The Argo II - everything was perfect. We were going to watch some movies, eat some pizza I got from the mess hall during lunch, you know, regular date stuff. And it was going to be great [she hoped].

She walked into the cabin bathroom and checked her reflection. Her eyes wandered down one of her sibling's tube of mascara sitting by the side of the sink. She picked it up, rolled it around it her fingers, and glanced around, making sure no one was in the cabin (she already knew that there was no one there - just double checking) and she put on one layer. Piper never used make-up, but tonight was the exception. No one would see it except for Jason, anyway [She had a reputation to keep, you know].

Just then, she heard a knock on her cabin door. Piper exited the bathroom, hurried to the door, smoothed down her skirt, took a deep breath, and opened the cabin door.

There was the son of Jupiter standing in front of her, smiling.

"Hey Jason," said Piper, who was blushing. Jason was wearing his camp T-shirt, jeans, and converse, but he still looked amazing to Piper.

"Hey Piper," said Jason. She opened the door wide enough to let him in. He entered, walked over to the couch and sat down.

"So… what are we doing?" he asked.

"Umm…" she muttered, reaching for the movies on the coffee table, "I was thinking we could watch a movie."

The Aphrodite Cabin contained a whole bunch of movies, but the downside was, they were all romantic lovey-dovey stuff [The Notebook, Titanic - luckily, Piper had planned for this].

"You want to watch The Avengers?" she asked, eyebrow raised.

"Sure," Jason said with a smile as she started to put the movie in. As she walked back over to the couch, Jason scooted himself over to make room for her. She plopped down next to him, pressed play on the remote and the movie started.

They were halfway into the movie, when Piper closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Athena knows how long later, Piper woke up to a lightly snoring Jason and the credits from The Avengers rolling on the screen.

"Jason," said Piper, gently shaking him. She glanced at the clock on the wall. It was 10:30.

"Jason," she repeated, whispering into his ear.

His eyes fluttered open. "Piper?" he asked, pushing himself up on the couch. He glanced at the TV.

"The movie's over?"

"Yeah," she replied, picking up the remote from her lap and tossing it onto the table. Jason smirked.

"Guess it wasn't that good, huh?"

Piper smiled and shrugged, then yawned. She had to admit that she was tired, but she still had other things planned for the evening.

Jason yawned soon after. "Man, I'm tired," he said, lifting himself up off of the couch. "It's getting late. I think I'm gonna' head back to my cabin."

"Yeah, I should get some beauty sleep," Piper said. Man, for a second there she was starting to sound like one of her siblings… she shivered.

"Not that you'll need it," Jason said with a smile, Piper snapped back into reality to smile back at him. She led him over to the front door, and opened it.

"Night, Sparky," she said as he walked out. He stuffed his hand in his pockets, stared at the dooor, and lingered a little bit in hesitation.

Jason turned around to face her, and Piper was pretty sure that they were both surprised when he leaned down and kissed her.

It was a sweet, slow kiss, lasting for about a few seconds, until he broke it.

"I love you, Jason," Piper said. The words spilled out of her mouth; she hadn't mean to say it so fast.

Piper rested her forehead against Jason's. Even though she hadn't meant to say it right then, Piper had never felt so sure about anything in her life - she really did love him.

Jason gazed down into her eyes, and his pools of sky blue met her kaleidoscope ones. She felt like she was floating on air.

Jason pecked her on the mouth again, and pulled back with a smile. "I love you too, Reyna."

Piper blinked. Wait - what?

She backed away from him, pushing him away. "Reyna?"

Jason's eyes widened in realization. "Oh gods," he muttered as he pressed his hand against his forehead.

"Piper, I'm sorry, I didn't mean- "

"Who in Hades is Reyna?"

Jason sighed, and ran a hand through his short-cropped hair. He walked across the room towards the couch and sat back down. Piper freaked out by the doorway, and closed the door once again.

"Since the quest we went on, I've been getting back my memories from Juno," he began, and Piper's eyes were watering now. "One of the people I remembered the most was a girl named Reyna, and- "

"I knew it." She mumbled aloud, cutting him off. Then she bit her lip. Piper hadn't meant to say that, either.

"What?" he asked.

While Jason, Leo and Piper were on our quest to save Hera, the idea that Jason had a girlfriend at the other camp kept popping into her thoughts. She just didn't want to believe it. Piper kept trying to put the idea off for months, but it just kept coming back, and now, her fears were confirmed.

"Piper," plead Jason. She watched as realization slowly dawned on his face. He stood from the couch and slowly approached her.

"Piper, it's not like that," Jason tried again, reaching for her arm. Piper jerked it away. The tears were falling steady now.

"Please," he said, "Let me explain."

Piper took in a shaky breath and tried to calm herself down. "Go."

Jason ran his fingers through his blonde hair once again. "After we got back from our quest to save Juno, my memories from the other camp began to come back. I remember a few of my friends - Dakota, Gwendolyn, Hazel, Bobby. And Reyna. Piper, I don't know what I feel for her. I don't know if we were dating, if we were just friends; but what I do know, is that I like you. A lot." He said, a small apologetic smile on his face.

Piper sighed and wiped the back of her hand across her face. She really couldn't blame him. It wasn't his fault that his memory got wiped.

Piper's thoughts wandered to the girl at the other camp. Reyna. It would kill Piper to constantly have to worry about where her boyfriend was, if he was safe, if he was cheating on her... She wouldn't wish that on her worst enemy. On the other hand, Reyna and Jason could've just been really close friends, but Piper seriously doubted that. She saw the twinkle in his eye when he talked about Reyna. Yup, they must've been real close.

Piper thought about Annabeth, and how she always had that faraway look in her eyes when she was thinking about her long lost boyfriend, Percy Jackson. Piper didn't have the heart to take Jason from Reyna, whether they had been together or not.

"Jason," she began, her feelings resolved, "I don't blame you for calling me 'Reyna' by mistake. It's not your fault that you couldn't remember her."

"Again, I apologize for not saying your name. I guess... I guess that I was just saying what I felt, you know?"

"It's okay, really, I understand. I accept your apology."

Piper silently cursed her mother for giving her the heart to let Jason go. Just a couple of months ago, she had just threatened Drew to back off of him. She had a feeling, that, if given the chance, Reyna would've done the same thing to her.

Jason smiled.

"No hard feelings?" he asked, clearly concerned.

"None whatsoever," she replied with a small smile. Not a total lie.

He got up from the couch and walked over to the door.

On his way out, Jason turned to her and asked, "Maybe we could try this again some other time?"

Piper had to admit that she still had strong feelings for him, and that she did enjoy that kiss, but she didn't think that they were going to do this again anytime soon.

"Maybe some other time," she replied. It took him a while, but Jason slowly nodded in agreement. Piper smiled.

"See you in the morning, Sparky."

She closed the door. Just like that, Jason was gone.

Back in the bathroom, Piper checked her reflection in the mirror. She was a mess. When she had cried, my mascara had run, and when she tried to wipe the tears away it had smudged all over her face. She looked like a brokenhearted zombie.

Piper scrubbed her face with make-up remover and headed for the door. She needed a breather. She started walking in the direction of the forest when she heard footsteps running in her direction.

"Piper!" called the voice of Leo. She turned around, a little surprised. Piper hadn't been expecting to see him around tonight.

"Hey, Leo." she said, smiling sadly. He must've noticed her mood, because he asked, "'Something wrong?"

Piper shook her head, "Nah, I'm fine."

Leo took her word for it, but he kept a wary eye on her. Then, he started to ramble.

"So I was just putting in the synchrophasors - "

"Uh huh."

"And then Nyssa was like, 'But we shouldn't use the Wii controllers 'cause - "

"Yeah huh."

"And so I was about to throw it away when - "

He was in the middle of telling her about the progress of the Argo II, when she suddenly interrupted him.

"Leo?"

He stopped. "Yeah?"

"If you're not busy, maybe you wanna' come over and watch a movie with me tomorrow night?"

He blinked, surprised at her request. "Um, okay...?"

Piper smiled. "Cool, then. Drop by at eight."

As soon as she said it, she turned around and started heading back to Cabin 10, leaving a very befuddled Leo behind to ask, "Wait...is that a date?" To no one in particular.

Piper smiled and opened the cabin door.

[Tomorrow was going to be great].
