Dear Kaira,
You look so much like your mother but you know that already. You're five years old turning six next week and I wish I could send you this letter. But I can't and I'm sorry about that. I'd like to give you a gift but you know that I can't. For starters, let me tell you a story. A story that could change your whole life.
There are legends and fables but underneath all those legends and myths is the truth. They are hidden in the stories so that we could forget them and we did. But I will never forget the story of your life. The story that changed my whole life.
Your mother is not Terri Schuester. It's me, Kaira. They never told you that, didn't they? But let's start at the beginning.
Once Upon a Time, there was this high-school girl named Quinn Fabray. Quinn was very popular and beautiful and she was the captain of the Cheerios, run by Sue Sylvester. Her boyfriend was Finn Hudson, the quarterback for the football team.
Finn decided to join the Glee Club and Quinn joined him there. They were one of the best singers in the club. But they weren't happy. They were now considered as total geeks and losers by the rest of the school. They weren't popular anymore.
To make matters worse, Quinn got pregnant by Finn's best friend, Puck. But Quinn didn't like Puck. Why? Because Puck was the biggest stud and playboy in the school. He was not to be trusted and he wasn't responsible. All Quinn and Puck had was a one-night stand.
So Quinn told Finn that he was the father and naive Finn believed ignorant and stupid Quinn. But somehow, Finn found out and he was furious at Puck and Quinn. He swore that Glee Club ruined his life and he almost quit...but he came back.
Quinn gave birth and gave the baby to Terri Schuester who now had another husband since she was divorced. Her husband's name was David Pike.
Quinn Fabray regretted what she had done and she wished she could take it all back. Giving the baby and even becoming pregnant in the first place. But she can't and if she hadn't got pregnant, you wouldn't be here.
The End.
That wasn't one of your usual bedtime stories, isn't it? I bet they read you Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty-ones with happy endings. But Kaira, not all stories have happy endings. Your story may be happy right now but it will change, for the better and for the worse. Brace yourself.
Now for the truth, Quinn Fabray was your mother and Noah "Puck" Puckerman was your father.
And you are their daughter.
~Q.F.~
