Chapter 1

"Risa...or Rika?"

"Hey, Koizumi. Pass the popcorn." Otani said, his eyes glued to the television screen. Risa sighed and passed him the snack. They were watching a live exclusive concert. Many musical artists from around the world had come to Osaka to take part in it. Of course the only reason Risa and Otani were watching the program was because Umibozu was going to be performing a new, never before heard single.

They had a huge argument over whose house they'd go to, to watch this amazing show. In the end, Otani had gotten Risa to come over to his house. It was strange enough having to explain the reason Risa was going to be spending the night. Otani told his mom it was because the concert was going to be until 3:00 a.m, but his mother still decided to believe other things. Otani shuddered from the thought. His father had given him "the talk" just ten minutes before Risa got to his house.

Now he couldn't look her straight in the face without imagining extremely perverted things. He made a plan to simply avoid looking at her at all costs. Although his eyes were starting to hurt from staring at the TV.

"A-Chan!" his mother called, flinging open the door with no warning. Otani glared at his mother. "What's that look for? I'm only picking up your laundry." she said, innocently. He continued to glare while saying, "Mother…you don't need to make up dumb excuses every five minutes. I know you're checking on us to make sure we aren't up to anything." His mother merely smiled. "Would you rather have your father check on you?" Otani cringed. "Hell no."

Risa smiled stupidly at the conversation. "Don't worry about checking on us. Our only interest right now is Umibozu." she explained. Otani's mother smiled at her. "You're such a sweet girl, Risa-Chan. I can't wait until you're my daughter in law." she giggled. Otani blushed and threw a book at her. "Enough, Mom! Get outta here already!" His mother dodged the book and stuck her tongue out at him.

Risa laughed. "I like your mother. She's so much fun." She replied, smiling naturally. Otani blushed again. He'd never admit that he did think she was really beautiful. She would start acting all gross again if he did. He suddenly noticed that he had been looking at her and stared directly at the floor. Risa noticed him suddenly look away and frowned. "What's wrong with you?" He mumbled something incoherent.

They heard someone mention Umibozu on the TV and quickly looked back to it. The host of the show was announcing the next few acts. "Next we'll be graced with a new artist, coming to Japan for the first time. A Japanese girl born and raised in America! Here's Rika Koizuki!"

"Hey that girl has almost the same name as me." Risa said, grabbing a handful of popcorn. "Yeah...scary." he replied. The stage on the TV was dark and there were lights flickering and bouncing all over the place. When the spotlights finally rested on the tall slim figure in the center of the stage, Otani and Risa found something incredibly wrong with the person they saw.

The person, this "Rika Koizuki", looked exactly like Risa. Well, not exactly. There were a few differences. One was her hair. It was red like Risa's but it was shorter and tied up in a spiky punk-style. Another was the fact that Rika had more curves than Risa. Aside from those things…the two girls looked exactly alike!
