I was ten years old when it started.

I had tried to run away from home, tired of that place. Dull, monotone, lifeless. It had seemed like an eternity since I had freedom; freedom to dream, freedom to be with my brothers, freedom to just explore and roam the open lands – that I have seen, but never felt – whilst with my brothers. They were not the ones to criticized my choice of a dream, but ironically, it was my parents.

The same partents who had put a roof over my head.

The same parents who adopted that snobby, snotty, smug little... thing (A/N: Stelly), just because they deemed that I was a disappointment.

The same parents who threatened to eliminate my freedom whilst endangering my brothers.

It definitely was not a win-win situation.

I had a freedom to dream. They disapproved of it.

I had a freedom to run. They disowned me.

And now, I had a freedom to be with my brothers. They struck my brothers down.

How do you think I felt? Well, the words;

anger,

weak,

and self-loathing

should come into your mind.

Anger – for the fact that my freedom was limited by such disrespectful parents;

weak – for the fact that I could not do anything in this desperate situation; and

self-loathing – for the fact that I should not have been born at all.

What is life if we have restricted freedom?

My brothers are what I live for. Each smile they show me, each argument between us, each minute of our time together strengthens our bond, and makes my life worth living. Without freedom, especially to be with my brothers, I am nothing.

This story actually originated from an English past paper question; the question was

Describe a time that your personal freedom was threatened. Explain how you felt.

or something like that.

Laugh out loud at my life. My exams start tomorrow as well -inserts gibberish-;
